Clean House Cincinnati

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I asked for a cleaning of a small 2 year old condo that was in good condition and completely vacant for 5 months. My realtor also walked through and agreed it was in great shape. I was quoted $38 an hour, and I never gave them a time limit. I also made it very clear it was a cleaning to list a home, and I even specified what I wanted done. I was disappointed to see that after they changed me for nearly 8 hours of cleaning, that the entire garage and storage unit went untouched. The door to the deck was not touched. The inside of the stove was UNTOUCHED. There was a dustpan WITH dust in it quietly tucked in a cabinet. There was dust along side the washer and dryer. So I contacted the person who cleaned it, who became argumentative and said "well we worked very hard on it." She agreed to reimburse me one hour worth of work that I yet to receive. Then I emailed the owner WITH pictures of what was left behind and not completed. Her nastiness and lack of professionalism was APPALLING. She actually said TWICE, "If you had cleaned at all it in the last year it wouldn't have been so bad." She was also incredibly rude with her responses. It is hard for me to believe they spent 8 HOURS doing such a poor job. And on top of that to insult me in the process. I got a bill for $285. This was NOT a professional cleaning. My realtor then walked through the property again after the "cleaning" and was also appalled at the lack of quality. I also showed her the rude emails from the owner and she was amazed how poorly this business was run, and agrees I was completely taken advantage of. She nor I, will ever be recommending this business. Unbelievable.

I hired this company because of the good reviews. The first time the owner came over, she looked at the work to be done and told me that it would take three hours to clean. I told her as well that I was doing major renovation in the house but that was not a problem and we have three young children. She would work around it. She did a great job cleaning. The next time a new cleaning lady came to our house. She came to our house once and then a new person came. In total I had five different people in my house over a period of about five months. Those five people did an average job, they all would forget stuff like one time the master bed was not made up, the other time the headboard of the bed wasn't cleaned, one forgot the dining room table but I was okay with that because most of the stuff was done and the price was good. But it started to irk me a little bit that nobody would pay attention to details and that we got a letter saying that they would charge more for the work The last lady we had at our house, she only came once, apparently took her time because I suddenly got a bill for four hours of work. Her excuse was that she spent a lot of time in the children's bathroom because it was a mess. But nobody else complained about that before she came and they all cleaned up the mess within the three hour time frame. So that was it. It was time to let them go and find somebody else. Another thing that bothered me is that you got a text message after business hours, about 12 hours before they would come over to your house, that you could cancel the work 48 hours otherwise you would be charged.

I am very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of this company. Lucinda is easy to communicate with and always available. She makes the accounting and payment process very easy. The cleaning staff is excellent and very courteous. I have no reservations about them being in my home whether I am present or not. The staff is efficient and thorough and also did anything extra that I asked them to do.

I have had nothing but wonderful service from Clean House Cincinnati, especially Leslie. They are very easy to work with/change schedules/add a new location. I am constantly impressed with how phenomenal the cleaning is each week. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a house cleaner.

Lucinda was excellent to work with! I submitted the request on Home Advisor really late Wednesday night online, Thursday morning she called me, did a walk-through by noon, and had a team of 2 working on the house on Friday morning! She was very helpful in understanding my needs and setting expectations for how much time and $ the job would take. She knew I had an urgent need and was able to rearrange her schedule to accommodate. She was also willing to work with me via live FaceTime since I was not at the house during the cleaning. We were able to look at specific things together and agree on what needed to be done. Lucinda and Leslie did a great job cleaning every room of the house, including a pretty gross fridge and bathrooms! She pointed out some repairs that needed to be made and made some recommendations on a number of things not specifically part of the cleaning. I appreciated her helpful communication in every step, appreciated that we talked in detail about what was in scope so that we didn't have any miscommunication or wrong expectations, as something like a whole house move out clean can often lead to. I even needed her to help me with picking up a bunch of trash that the residents had left outside upon move out that was starting to blow into the neighbors yards due to wind. She happily got some trash bags and took care of it for me- she definitely is willing to go above and beyond! I likely would not have found Clean House Cincinnati had it not been through submitting the request online. I'm so glad I did, and I would certainly recommend Clean House Cincinnati!
