Left my job for months and did not tell me there would be a 4-month delay between the time I paid the time my deck got done. Did not haul away leftover supplies. Inflated prices. My deck got done in time for Fall which was not what I wanted.

We are very happy with the quality work that Clean Slate Construction done. We had them build a covered front porch with a connecting deck from our breezeway. The owner of the company Nick Was very friendly and informative throughout the whole project. We would definitely Recommend Clean Slate Construction.

Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
Nick offers contracting services so can be called for a variety of projects. He is a true professional. The Electrician and Carpenter were very professional and were able to resolve an obstacle that we ran into with the replacement of our electrical panel. They used their time productively, were great guys and most professional. It was a pleasure to have then do the work for us. This was an expensive repair and priced fairly for the level of service. If service and top quality work is your primary objective this is the company for you! It's also great that they have a variety of services and projects can be streamlined and completed timely.

Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
I have only hired them. They have not started any of the work yet so I can't really rate the quality of the work (but based on my experience so far, it's a 5). Nick has been great to deal with. He's always been available to answer any of my questions and has been extremely helpful. Based on how it's gone so far, I would definitely recommend Clean Slate Construction to anyone.

Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
I hired this company on October 15 2018 to do a major home remodel in Knox Indiana.He was given a $40,000 down payment for an approx $100,000 job. Unfortunately a death in our family has now placed the property in probate with no telling if or when it will become ours. I informed Mr.Orlich the owner and he told me that he would return the down payment that was in mid-November. He has promised every month since then to send me a check. The last time I Talked to him was on February 28, 2019, he promised to call me on March 5 2019. I have called him every day since then and he has not returned one call. I am a senior citizen and can not afford a loss like this. I only gave him 1/2 star because it will not let me give him zero.

"Clean Slate Construction worked on over 10 different drawings and plans for this property over a 7 month period in trying to come up with a design that they were happy with. After my self and my sales associate spent several hours not only working on the drawings but as well driving over a hour one way to meet at their property in knox In. As well they had another contractor who had spent their time making drawings as well. I was called to come to their home in Chicago for a final meeting, contract signing and to receive a deposit to start the work."
