Clean Slate Pest Control Corporation

I have tried to call Clean Slate for over a month, and Rene refuses to call back. A job he did for me in Long Beach, cost me over $5000.00, did not take care of the problem. So I called him to go and take a look and no answer, he basically took my money and never looked back. So, if anyone talks to him, let him know I"m looking for him to do some warranty work. I'm very disappointed in Rene, being he was such a good Pest Control guy, but now he won't return any of my calls.

Came out and removed 1 dead rat from the attic an billed me $425.00. Bill included coming back and sanitizing and cleaning the attic and sealing all entries. He has not done these things nor did I request them or want them done. yet he is still billing me for them.

Very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. We did have problems w/the removal of the insulation. It ended up taking a few months vs 1-2 weeks that we were promised. It turned out there were several layers of insulation in my old house they did not detect while inspecting my house and providing us with quote. It resulted in a lot more work than they anticipated and said they were losing money on time and labor. I don't believe it was our fault and something we should have had to pay for otherwise we would not have gone ahead with the removal of the insulation but they had the integrity of following through with the project. No complaints or grips. They followed through on their word. All-in-all I would recommend them. Rene had the integrity to follow through on his word. That's rare now a days.

They were friendly and prompt. They were sensitive to my fears of rodents. They kept me informed about the status of the project. I have seen no evidence of the any rodents.

Not reliable. Did not come when they said they would. Left a young guy at my house unsupervised then the more experienced one took off for another job with the ladder leaving him to struggle on his own. He ended up putting some screws through my stucco from the inside. Would not recommend.

Rene was very nice and professional while doing the initial inspection. Joey did a very thorough job sealing up any and all entry points. We didn't have another issue inside the house. The only negative is getting service checkups. They are busy and it's hard to align schedules to check traps.

Friendly and professional attitude, immediately located and removed dead animal. Removal and cleanup of hair and such not thorough. Strong odor remained. Had to get someone else to clean up spot and deodorize. Am handicapped and unable to do that myself. However, would use again.

Charged me to remove a dead opossum from a certain area under my house. 3 days later the smell came back. I called and was told someone would come back out, but no one did. I called again and said I would put a stop payment on the check if there was no follow through. Rene told me he was doing me a favor by even coming to my house the first time and said he was sick of dealing with people like me and hung up on me. The next day, my husband crawled under our house to the same area and found a dead opossum so covered in maggots that it had obviously been there a while--Clean Slate never removed the dead animal, they just sprayed to abate the smell and lied about removing it

I would recommend for any pest control that I would have if it comes across!

These guys are pros, they tell you how it is and provide you with options that are effective and give you peace of mind. They listen to your needs and concerns and work with you to ensure you get your problem resolved. I had a pigeon problem and no one would come, but these guys did and got the job done. I don't have to worry about pigeons nesting and defecating all over my roof.

Rene and team were very professional . A clear explanation of how they were planning to get rid of the rodent infestation in the attic. Very thorough vacuuming , cleaning and then traps were laid . They checked for 4 weeks to make sure there was no activity before installing the insulation. Very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.
