Although the first check for the ILC was lost in the mail for a while, once received they started work right away. I can’t say enough of how happy I am about the way it turned out. They did a wonderful job on my deck and were there every day until it was complete. Professional, courteous and kept area clean and safe at all times. I highly recommend Decks by Clem Aube.

Clem installed my deck 4 years ago. Clem and team are true craftsmen. The details that he address in the nature of the work are amazing. There is not a joint that is off on the entire 16x20 area. Clem worked from the consulting/design stage with us and completed the build on-time, within spec, and on budget to the penny estimate. I knew I had something good when the building inspector in Parker expressed in awe how good everything looked on final inspection.

For a project like this you want to be certain you choose the right contractor who knows what they are doing, cares about the quality of their work and cares about what the customer wants and will be happy with. You won't regret choosing Clem for your deck project!! All along the way, he and his long-time employee Israel were extremely professional and organized. They are considerate of your home while they are getting the work done and do the work in the most efficient manner. It was clear all throughout the project how much Clem cares about the quality of his work! He removed our old deck and installed a beautiful composite deck approximately 550 square feet in size. I get nervous spending money on big projects such as this and my husband and I feel great with our choice in Clem and couldn't be happier with his work! It's a no brainer choosing Clem and we feel lucky we found him!

If you want a high-quality deck and installation along with outstanding service, then Clem Aube and team are the decking contractors to call. We talked with 3 contractors, with Clem being the last. The first wanted to cut corners--"I'm trying to reduce cost here for you." The second quote was definitely better than the first joker. But Clem's quote exceeded all the others by far. In terms of cost vs quality product, Clem's quote could not be beat. We chose to have the no-maintenance deck instead of the redwood. Clem and team also designed and installed a wonderful privacy fence for us as well. The attention to detail and quality craftsmanship -- it is kind of unbelievable. I'm still kind of dumbfounded with the whole process and final product. You don't see this trifecta of commitment to quality, craftsmanship and reasonable cost. In addition, Clem provided the sincerest, quality recommendations and was able describe all of the recent code requirements. The first two contractors barely communicated anything. I had to ask tons of questions for the others, but Clem answered mostly all of my questions before I could even ask any.

Clem Aube did a fantastic job on our deck. He and his colleague were extremely professional and knowledgeable, and his price was 20-30% lower than other bids we received. Clem had ideas that other contractors did not even think of, and continued to tweak and improve upon those ideas during construction. We ran into a complication with our Homeowners Association, and Clem helped us stay within those guidelines, constructing custom columns and additions, which were beautiful! I highly recommend him if you need it done right!

The deck and cover Clem build was more than we could have expected. He and his team did a wonderful job. He is more of a craftman than a deck builder. His price was far less than any other estimae we received and the quality far exceeded anything else we saw. He did not cut corners and went far above what was to be expected. The work site was always clean and his crew worked extremely hard working and polite. I would have him back again in a minute. HIghly recommended!!!
