Dan and Denise at Cleve Carpentry work as a team, handle any job & are true pros. Dan & crew are meticulous & versatile, thus highly in-demand, such that folks often try to keep them on-site as long as possible. Cleve nailed a unique modern cable-railing deck project, a tricky install & wow it really gets noticed! But mostly Cleve Carpentry is a group of fun, friendly, good people, who you can trust with any type of home remodel or repair

We were given a proposal by Dan to complete cabinet install, after proposal was accepted and payment was given it was extremly difficult to get him on site. Phone calls and texts were completly ignored for weeks. Finally upon his arrival and half way through install he informed us that he would need an addition $700 to complete our job that had no addtional add ons from us. We reluctantly paid, the job had been dragged out so long at this point and we just wanted it done. Once again after additon payment, communication with Dan and his secretary became nonexistent! Dozens of texts and voicemails went unanswered for several weeks. Finaly Dan showed up to what we had hoped to be the completion off our job but he fell short, he told us he would be back the folllowing day to finish up... that was 2 weeks ago and yes, once again we cannot get a hold of anyone. Not a call back or response as to why he is unwilling to finish the project even after we paid the addition money on a job that he quoted, not to mention that I have asked for a updated invoice many times to show accurate billing but cannot get one. ?? Dan and his team at the beginng are very friendly and willing to communicate, but once funds are given it becomes a extremely different relationship. Total lack of communication and unwilling to finish the job when he has been paid in full and then some.

Dan and his team were awesome! Very nice, prompt with communication, did an excellent job installing our countertops(and was great with my dogs too lol) I would recommend him for any job!!

Dan finished our basement. He framed, drywalled, painted, installed a drop ceiling and created a 1/2 bath and separate utility room. He took my vision and brought it to life. He is creative and maticulous. I could not be happier. I would give 10 stars if possible!

I really appreciated the great communication in scheduling the install. The work was done with care and professionally. I would use them again.

He took out two unwanted windows. Outside the holes were insulated, boarded over and sided. Inside the same holes were insulated, dry walled, taped, mudded, sanded, primed, and finish painted. You cannot tell there were ever windows in the remaining wall. He blended the paint perfectly. We are very happy with the job he did. Dan is a very talented carpenter and multifaceted with painting skills, electrical skills and plumbing abilities. We are happy we have found him and hired him to work in our home. In addition to being very talented, Dan also a very nice man who listens and then goes out of his way to ensure he delivers what the customer wants.

Hired Dan to replace rotten wood on garage in order to install gutters. Dan was very polite, professional, and communicated well. He did a great job on the project and will be using him again!

Dan Cleve did a great job on my bathroom. I interrupted him several times while he was working. He was very patient.
