In May, we had a new air handler, condenser, and heat pump (HVAC system) installed. We were told we'd be given a $2,125.00 rebate through Energize CT, and the owner of the company said he filed it for us. We have tried following up MANY times, and not only have we never received the rebate, but David stopped responding to our calls. My husband left David a final voicemail on October 30 letting him know that if he was unwilling to let us know what's going on, we'd have no other choice than to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and he never returned that call. We submitted the complaint to the BBB on November 11, and no one from the company has responded to us or the BBB complaint. We were misled on the price of the project based on the promise of a rebate we've never received. I don't even know if there was a real rebate. The only reason I'm giving a 2-star review instead of a 1-star review is because the technicians who came out and performed the work were fantastic.

My experience was awful with Climate Care. David S. (The owner) came to repair our system. He gave a quote, then added 50 percent more. He said he repaired the system but it was never repaired. We asked for a refund (even a partial refund) because he said customer satisfaction is guaranteed. He said he would give us a refund but he never did. I would text him numerous times and he said yes, he would give a partial refund. Then he never did. Now he doesnâ t even respond to my texts. We literally threw away $1,600. He was not honest about costs, he lied about refunds and he didnâ t do a good job repairing our system. I wish I knew about all his terrible reviews before I used him. If I knew, I wouldnâ t have wasted so much money!!!

Impossible to reach customer service by email or phone. They never respond.

Best decision we ever made. Everything Dave, owner of Climate Care promised was delivered and more. During recent cold weather, regardless if winds , each of our three zone thermostats maintained the exact temperature that was called for. Never happened with heating system prior to Trane system that Climate Care installed. Similar results during the past summer when the Trane AC was operating. Crew that did the installation was courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Our experience with Dave and the entire Climate Care organization exceeded our expectations. Climate Care had repaired our central air in the past and helped to extend its life by a few years. However, it was now time to replace it. The ac unit was in the attic of an older three-story home so not an easy job. Dave and his crew were professional and efficient. They also installed a new mini-split on the first floor. They accommodated our concerns regarding that installation even though it made the job more complicated. We really appreciated that. Their price was competitive though not the least expensive. We felt the cost was worth it to deal with a company we had confidence in. We recommend them.

Tech was helpful and explained things very well.

Climate Care was great. They were very quick to get in touch and get the appointment scheduled. The tech that came out was super thorough and told me that we actually didn't need to replace a part that was making a bit of noise as it would probably keep working. We decided to replace it anyway. They came out just a few days later and completed the work. They are easy to deal with, quick, and professional. Highly recommend.

This is a dishonest company that should be removed from HomeAdvisor. They came to my house for an AC repair - charged me over $450. Within 36 hours my AC unit was not working again. I called them to report it and they did not return my call or text. I had to make repeated calls to finally have customer service schedule a date a week after their initial visit. Again, a repair person came and within 36 hours the AC unit stopped working. I called again and their customer service dept hung up on me. It was shocking. I had to call another vendor who said the work CC claimed to have done, never occurred. This HVAC technician substantiated they lied and over charged me for work never done (showing me pictures and other forms of proof). I will be pursuing a refund from CC but recognize it will most likely not occur as they are dishonest. Home Advisor should remove them from their lists as I did rely on HomeAdvisor in hiring CC and now I fully regret the decision. I expect that any company listed on HomeAdvisor is fully vetted for integrity and honesty. I have subsequently spoken with other contractors and they nodded their heads in recognition that Climate Care is a poorly run company with bad service, and any home owner should stay far away from Climate Care, as they lie to the customer.

They know what they are doing, but, it can be expensive.

I hired them to fix my central air and It has been a nightmare ever since they put their hands on it. They are crooks and they have horrible work ethic. I tried calling the office to schedule an appointment several time but no one answers the phone or returns the call. I already spend almost $600.00 dollars and my central air is still not working properly. I had to hired another company to fix my central air. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I hired them to clean my ducts as there was a deceased rodent in there somewhere....it seemed things were ok but the system had not been turned on again...when I did that the next day the rotten smell was still there... I called to see if they could check the vent, but no response.

It was a big job. Did it well.

Amazing service. Did a fantastic job!

Posted my problem on Home advisor Monday 7pm. Received a call from Climate Care next morning at 10am. Jared arrived at 11:30am checked the whole system, located the problem and fixed the issue in less than an hour. He explained all steps and answered all questions. Now the house is nice and cool again. Great service by Climate Care; I highly recommend them!
