This company is very shady. First they tell me tech will be there mid day, comes at 430pm. They do not tell the me to turn unit off 24 hours prior to diagnoses. When tech comes its frozen and he is not able to finish diagnoses. He tells me to put a fan on for 24 hours then they will come back to further diagnose as there may or may not be a leak. Then after calling them the next day they e mail letter with further " possible charges". When I call they are telling me now the diagnoses does not need to be finished even though they still don't know what is wrong with it. Money gauging lies and inconsistent stories is what you will get here

I came home yesterday to a house that felt a little warmer than normal. Sure enough, the AC wasn't working, and the temperature crept up a few degrees per hour. With temperatures for the week projected to be in the mid nineties and two kids that stay at home during the day, I needed someone to diagnose and fix the problem ASAP. Climatech is located in Wallingford where I live, so I called the office and had someone out within the hour despite being in the early evening. The serviceman was very professional and quickly determined that the capacitor on my outdoor condenser was bad. He swapped it out, made sure everything was functioning properly, and was on his way. The cost seemed more than fair. For once, I felt good about a transaction! If something happens to my AC or furnace in the future, I will be sure to call Climatech.

Technician failed to properly repair gas furnace pilot tube over several attempts. Then after it appeared to be repaired, it leaked again a month later and created a significant gas leak and emergency repair by SCG.

I have never liked to spend time writing reviews, mostly because customer service is generally something that is part of companies these days, but I cannot write a more negative review about this company Climatech as it has been the worst customer experience, and price gouging, of any business that I have ever dealt with. A summary: Contacted home advisor on Thursday afternoon 12/28/18 regarding my gas furnace which stopped working in 10 degree F weather (which I admit and do not blame this company for the bad timing, as the furnace was probably strained from the excessive work during this cold spell). Home Advisor recommended Climatech based upon their "advertised" 24/7/365 service. After receiving a call back, they indicated that someone would be contacting me that evening to schedule my emergency repair service to my gas furnace which stopped working that afternoon. I had attempted the usual fixes; I reset the power, adjusted the thermostat, and reset the pilot on my broiler. Nothing worked. At 9pm I received a call from Paul, assumed to be the manager and/or owner, who indicated that although they have 24 hour service listed, including emergency service, that they would not be able to make it out to my house that evening, as they had about 10 "commercial" accounts that they had to tend to. Frustrated, but I said ok because they indicated that they would come out the next day (and many electric space heaters later that I purchased as a result). Long story short: a repair man came out and charged me $650 to do a repair of my gas valve which he indicated he was "99.9% sure" was the problem. Next morning I woke up to my house being 45 degrees (again during a week where the temps dropped below 0 and never made it above 18 degrees), as the furnace was still not working. Another repairman came out the following day (now day 3 of no heat) and indicated that it clearly was my igniter (which is a 25 dollar part) and that since it is now the holiday, they couldn't get me the part until Tuesday (this being Saturday at the time). It is now Wednesday 1/3/18 and my furnace has not been fixed, I had to call on Tuesday to remind them, and the manager indicated that this will be another $400 to fix, with no sign of remorse or willing to negotiate regarding their misdiagnosis. It has now been 7 days since I have had no heat, with the extreme possibility of pipes bursting in my house, my wife getting sick, and 7 days where the temperature has not gone above freezing. I cannot wait to report this company to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else that will listen. Home Advisor, I do home that if anything comes out of this, that this company is removed or "flagged" as one of your recommended vendors.

After some initial issues, Climatech...and most notably as other reviewer mention, PAUL NASKI went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me. He really cares about customers, his work, and his reputation. THAT I can't say enough about-he's an asset and then some. While I cant give 5 *'s due to some issues I won't get into, the responsiveness, work ethic and caring went a long way to give me a much better impression of Climatech, and at this point I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services and certainly recommend PAUL whom is terrific.

I used another company 5 times to diagnose an AC issue, Climatech resolved the issue within a couple of hours.

Very professional and friendly - the technician came when they said. He explained the problem and the cost before beginning the work. He was in...solved the problem and left in no time! He made recommendations for future service but was not pushy or aggressive! I am totally satisfied!

Excellent Customer Service from the receptionist, scheduler and the technician that completed the work! They were all knowledgeable of the company and HVAC replacement.

Charged $150 for investigation, which found nothing in my home central air unit. Them charged another $300.00 to fill refrigerant. The unit never worked. They didn't check for leaks, or any other malfunction of the unit.

They were very prompt and contacted me initially very quickly. However the technician did leave a little bit of a mess when he left, wish he had just taken the extra 5 minutes to clean it all up. Pretty expensive too.

He was quick and professional.

I called this morning around 7:30 thinking I would have to make an appointment - they said they would call me back when a technician was ready to come out. It's now 12:20 and the job is already done! I call that awesome service. Ryan the technician was very friendly and I felt very much at ease with him. He gave me a rundown on the condition of the furnace when he was done servicing it for just some annual maintenance. I am really happy with my experience and would call them again for any other related service needs!

When the technician arrived to service the HVAC system he preformed a rather costly diagnostic. When the technician called me to review his assessment with me; he told me the system was running but low on refrigerant. He did not tell me it was not pushing cold air. As a result I decide to wait and see if it would turn off again. He then told my tenants I didn't want to fix it and said he felt sorry for them. Because it turned off; I sent them back to repair. They filled up with refrigerant and now it still doesn't work $680 later?????

Brad was very professional. My unit was for all intents dead. He explained my options. I chose to install new unit. It was installed and cooling my home in about two hours. I was quite impressed with the speed of the whole process. Thanks Brad.
