BUYER BEWARE ? The Closet Butler is dishonest, rude, and unreliable. If you want a closet that?s sturdy for more than a few months (or even a year), do not do business with them. I own a condo in Jersey City. About 10 months after installation, the hanging rod in my primary bedroom closet collapsed, leaving my clothes on the floor. When I called, they said the earliest repair appointment was a month out. Even though I was frustrated, I asked them to send a replacement rod so I could try to fix it myself in the meantime. The rod they sent was too short, so I couldn?t even hire someone to repair it ? I had no choice but to wait for their appointment. When the owner finally came out, he initially questioned what I was saying because he claimed it matched the original specs. But once he looked, he realized I was right ? the rod was too short. He stayed briefly, left the parts scattered around my room, and even asked me for my own toolbox, then said he had to leave for a doctor?s appoin

Just realized I didn’t “review” back in 2008 but John was perfect for my garage org system. Over the years, it’s proved itself many times over.

Joan gave me a good design for our storage needs and the guys who built the closets did a great job. Very happy with the end result!

John was wonderful to work with. I only intended to have the master closet done. After meeting John, I added a linen closet to the project. The installer completed both my master closet and linen closet in less then 4 hours. I am very happy with the finished products.

Super designers. We did our garage with custom cabinets and flooring, as well as our master closets and pantry. We were in search of a carpenter to design and fabricate our den. After meeting with Closet Butler and one of their designers, Joan, we had them design, fabricate, and install the most incredible built-in entertainment unit. Wow, wow, and wow. Words cannot explain how elated we are with their work and steadfast service. Highly recommended!

The designer Joan Nickel was very patient and stayed long hours with us designing our closets to fit my needs. The installers were courteous and good; however, I did not care for the gentleman, Nick's attitude when any questions were addressed to his work. The other installer also took several cigarette smoke breaks in my balcony which was not very pleasing-although he did ask before doing so. All in all I am happy with my closets and prices were fine-slightly cheaper than other contractors but could have also done the same from Home Depot with a handyman. Counting on beter quality and long term waranty!

After calling Closet Butler, I met with their design consultant, Joan Nickel at my home. She provided design consultation, information about the various options for materials and finishes, and an estimate of the cost. She assisted me in coming up with design plans for four closets, including coat closet, two reach-in closets with sliding doors and a walk-in closet in my master bedroom. I was very pleased with the cost which I felt was very reasonable. The installation was scheduled for about a month later and was performed by Jessie who did an excellent job. Closet Butler provides a great value and proves that quality custom closets do not have to be prohibitively expensive. I would recommend their service to anyone and plan to use them again in the future in my next home.

Erin was a patient helpful and quickly provided very specific documentation so we could visualize the work that will be done. Very pleased with the time she spent it made all the difference.

They are quick, a little expensive, but do a good job.

Closet Butler did a quality work, and was really friendly. He understood my needs, as far as building a closet, compared them to 5 other people, alot of the closet makers, and they were the best over all. They didn't try to rip me off with the price, price was a little pricey, but they did not try to rip me off like some others did. And their quality was fantastic. I would recommend them over and over again.
