Randy was one of my choices here on home advisor and upon the first call to all my choices of contractors, Randy stood out as the most personable and trustworthy. He helped us arrange professionals for every aspect of the remodel and tried his best to stay on schedule despite a few unforeseen plumbing and cabinet ordering issues. Randy was always on time and made sure the other professionals were as well. He worked well with us and our budget and jumped in to take care of replacing windows and trim himself. He even brought all of the hardwood floors inside the house for us!! He always left our home as tidy as possible. Having to rely on and trust someone to be in your home while you’re at work is hard to do but Randy hands down makes it a more comfortable and trusting experience. I chose Clunie Custom Remodeling to insulate and drywall my garage. I am very pleased with the results. Randy put a lot of work into addressing all the little details. If he puts this much effort into a garage remodel, I know he would do the same for everything he does. I expect to use Clunie Custom Remodeling for another project as I update my home. Randy was flexible working around my schedule to install new garage doors while coordinating this work with the door installer. He did not rush to get mudding done in one or two shots and move on. He took the time to come back for short touch-ups and fine tuning of the finish making it is ready for paining. Randy was always on time and showed up when he said he would. He found ways to save money while doing the work and shared those savings by lower the final bill. He is also a very interesting person and fun to talk with as he goes about his work.

I have brought Randy on for numerous projects on our home. From plumbing and electrical projects, to drywall work, painting and finishing items. Most recently we brought him on to finish our previously unfinished 1300 sq ft basement. He is a consummate professional and handles every project with the utmost concern for his client’s ultimate happiness. He is always on time, flexible with work when possible, and clearly articulates the anticipated project time, trades he may bring in based on the scope of the project, and overall cost estimates. He provides options/solutions for any variables that may come up during a project and worked in tandem with us to discuss finishing materials, design options, etc. We will most definitely be working with Randy and CCR again.

I've known Randy for several years so when it came time to build a workshop in my basement, I called him. He came right out and we discussed the crude plans I had drawn up. He gave me some ideas on how to lay out this portion of the basement, where the equipment should go, what lighting I should add and where the outlets should be placed. He was very neat, arrived on time and did such a good job for me that my older daughter used him for a remodel in her condo. Randy's working on my younger daughter's closet right now. He recently completed an entire first floor renovation for one of my co-worker's in-laws. I've seen his other work, most notably in his own basement where he built an 18' wet bar that would rival any downtown restaurant, a multi-tiered media room complete with surround sound and recliners, a temperature and humidity controlled wine cellar, a new guest bathroom, and even a cigar room with its own air exchanging system. He even designed and built a huge outdoor entertainment area behind his home with pavers, a sitting area, food preparation area and a fireplace and chimney. Randy has also created several amazing basement built-outs for his neighbors. Randy is always on time, cleans up after himself, offers solid recommendations for improvements and always keeps your budget in mind. He knows electrical, plumbing, framing, concrete, dry wall, fixture installation, tile, windows and doors, and ventilation. And, he worked on my project on my schedule until the job was completed to my satisfaction. Yes, he's the best. And I'm so proud of my workshop.
