Terrible company to deal with. Destroyed my wifes piano, broke our desk and delivered the furniture over 2 weeks after the date on our contract. Took over 6 months to be compensated for damages at half of what the items were worth.

The worst ! Chaos, confusion and $$ hungry!!! Please remove this company from HomeAdvisor list. I just gave up & paid.

Project: Find Moving Services - Long Distance (Out of State)
They are terrible at communicating the exact process of the move. They picked up my items that sat in their facility for weeks before transporting my stuff to me. It took practically a month to receive my stuff when the customer service rep said it probably only be 2 weeks. Worst of all is they broke quite a few items including a $1200 marble top. If you don’t get extra insurance you only get 60 cent per pound the item weighs so $60 for a $1200 item! If you go with them make sure read all fine print at least twice! Don’t listen to what the employees have to say!
Response by Coach USA Moving and Storage: We are sorry customer is not happy with the outcome of her move. The delivery process and delivery window are explained in writing in our booking process (please see our Binding Estimate). We reviewed the delivery documents and they show that all items were received in good condition with no delivery exception. We urge customer to continue with the claim process which customer registered on 9/17/18 so that this matter can be investigated and reviewed by a claims adjuster and establish compensation accordingly.

Response by Coach USA Moving and Storage: We do apologize the customer didn't have a good moving experience with us. It is always our intention to provide our customers with quality service and professionalism from beginning to end. Our paperwork is constantly being reviewed and updated to ensure full disclosure of the moving process. We do our very best to accommodate any of our customer's special requests. However, when requests are not made in advance to give us enough time to coordinate necessary labor and scheduling, we may not be able to accommodate those last-minute requests. Customer had initially requested storage of their goods until 10/1/18. However, on 9/4/18, customer informed us that they are ready for delivery as of 9/4/18. Our dispatch team began coordinating the unexpected early delivery. The delivery took place one day past the promised 21 business days delivery and we have compensated customer as agreed per contract. Customer was notified via various verbal and written communication that delivery driver will call them to schedule time of arrival within 1-2 days of arrival or until the last delivery prior has been completed. We were not aware of the parking permit and/or that 2-3 days notice was necessary for customer to coordinate parking. We would certainly have tried to accommodate their needs if possible. We were not made aware that customer decided to proceed with unpacking services until after the delivery crew had been dispatched. We did the very best we could to accommodate another last minute request. Customer was fully aware of the amount of payment due at delivery and form of payment since the contract was drawn on 7/1/18 (two months before). However, the customer decided to wait until he received delivery schedule notice to obtain the necessary funds and form of payment. As stated earlier, our goal is to provide excellent service and we will always do our best to accommodate customers? needs whenever possible. Delivery agents may be used to facilitate delivery. No part of the move was sub-contracted. We may not always have an up-to-the-minute, immediate whereabouts information of each trailer due to our safe-driving policy that may prohibit drivers from using cell phones at certain times. We apologize if we were not able to provide an up-to-the-minute update until we were able to get to speak to the driver. Anticipated arrival dates and times constantly changes while in transit due to various reasons beyond our control. We have explained to customer that the driver can only provide an ETA when he is closer to the delivery state and/or the last delivery prior to arrival has been completed, while also taking into consideration Hours of Service rule regulated by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. When we book a move, we always ask for a 2-day window to start a move to allow scheduling and logistics coordination of movers and equipment/truck. I had the privilege of working with Helen to help my mother-in-law with her move across the country. She was very easy to talk to, explained their process and costs and most importantly set realistic expectations for how the move was going to happen. We spoke several times to come up with an accurate inventory, so there wouldn't be any surprises come moving day. She took extra time to go over how their pricing worked and made sure we understood what to look for as we were shopping multiple companies. Once the decision was made & the moving date set, things continued to go smoothly. The movers arrived as scheduled and did a great job. My mother-in-law added things not previously on the inventory and thus incurred additional costs. This was not a surprised, as it was previously discussed. Today was delivery day and they just finished. Everything went smoothly and as promised. I inquired on Mon and they said to expect delivery on Thur or Fri. On Wed the driver called and said he would arrive Thur afternoon and they did (although an hour later than planned). Overall, it was a great experience. There was a lot of trepidation when this process started, but you can rest assured that when you hire this moving company and give them an accurate inventory, you will have a smooth move and a great price. I would definitely use them again.

Moved from MA to TX. Coach Movers did an excellent job from pick uo to delivery. Both crews were great! Accross country and not one item broken damaged or lost. I definitely recommend this mover!

They hit me with a $200 dollar charge because the truck was too big to get in my apartment complex....this was bogus. They used my delivery as ransom...would love to discuss further...feel cheated..

It is only through feedbacks such as yours that we are able to maintain and where necessary improve upon the service and/or communication that we provide to our valuable customers. We are sorry that you are unhappy with your experience. We certainly empathise regarding the additional charge for a "shuttle" service which was necessary to complete the delivery of your goods. This is a service that is listed in all our quotes as optional "additional accessorial services." These are "as needed" type services. Because all long distance moves are usually delivered with an 18-wheeler, it is sometimes necessary to transfer goods to a smaller truck if it is not able to safely and legally enter and exit the unloading area within 250ft. Since this service does not apply to all deliveries, this charge is only added at the time of delivery when we encounter the lack of trailer access upon arrival. A shuttle service fee includes rental fee for a truck from local truck rental facilities and manual labor to transfer goods from the 18-wheeler to rental truck. As mentioned earlier, the cost for optional accessorial services are listed in our estimates. While we sympathize with the fact that these unexpected services sometimes become necessary but may cause additional expenses our clients are not prepared for, please understand that these fees are added on only to recoup 100% of our actual costs. This type of service adds delay to other subsequent deliveries as it is quite labor intensive and therefore is only sought as a last resort. As a gesture of good faith, we reduced the fee by 30% on the day of the delivery. We recently contacted you to offer additional refund. However, you declined our offer. We sincerely hope that you will reconsider our offer and reach out to us at 866-999-9755.
