There were some issues that needed review after the installation and they were met with true concern by Coastal Lumber and the issues were resolved very satisfactorily. Our salesman, Randy was very conscientious, friendly and courteous.

They installed my fence in the backyard. The work was done in a timely fashion, and they kept the area clean.

All i can say is "wow". When we wanted to build our fence (Over 100 ft) we had many many option to go with but choses Coastal Lumber as they rep (Randy) made me feel like i was his number 1 customer. He spent over an hour at my house going through all the options and even suggested some different ideas. The guys turned up on time and when they left the only way you would have known they were there was becuase a new fence was up. the place was just as tidy after they went as it was before they came. The guys who put the fence up were friendly and very very professional. Great job

Matt has been very responsive to my phone calls. The two men who showed up to remove the old fence and install the new one were polite and willing to adjust to my requests. I am still waiting for one request to be completed, but I expect that to be fulfilled.

Redwood privacy fence. Very reasonable cost, excellent quality, attractive, straight, level. On time for estimate, start work, and finish. Coordinated with neighbor for shared cost, schedule, access. Plainly partitioned bid into sections showing shared costs vs non-shared. Extra mile - fixed 3 feet of my adjoining fence at corner at no cost. Not part of bid but needed. Just did it and did not ask for more money. Thanks to Matt and crew. Note: I recommend Con-Heart redwood. It looks great and resists decay better. Well worth upgrade cost, currently $3 / foot, essentially identical to the local price differential of the better wood.

Wow! What a great job they did. I was amazed at what a difference the fence made to the curbside appeal of my little cabin. I asked for something simple to contain my two small dogs and add to the overall aesthics of the natural surroundings, and that's exactly what they built. The service was top notch -- prompt, friendly and professional. What more can I say! No complaints whatsoever! Thanks guys.

They showed up on time for our appointment and gave a competitive bid, but they couldn't build exactly what we wanted. They made other good suggestions, but in the end we went with a contractor who was able to give us exactly what we wanted.

GREAT price based on other estimates, courteous communication and quick and efficient work. This contractor responded quickly, did what he said he was going to do and had all the equipment he needed to get the job done quickly. I would hire him again with no question.

No problems wil the tear-down, removal of old and construction of new redwood gates for my fence.

The fence they build was top notch. They finished my 80 feet fence in 1 day. Very quick.

I had a redwood fence replaced; about 150 linear feet. Their rep and workers were very professional. They accommodated their schedule to work with me and all of my neighbors who share the fence. They were willing to work with us on the design and pricing for the fence; showing me on the price quote how much each of the shared sections would cost each family. The work was completed on time. They cleaned out all the debris and put all the plants back up on the new fence.

I hired Matt for the job without getting any other bids. I felt like he answered my questions directly and honestly. He's a little impatient, but I kind of like that because it irritates me to waste time too. The 3-part job is 2/3 done, still waiting for one neighbor to get on board. I referred both neighbors to Matt and he was successful with one because she really liked my new section; the other was in foreclosure. So my relatively small project was done at two different times by two different crews. Both crews did a great job of getting rid of the old rotten fencing and putting up new. Labor quality great; materials quality satisfactory.

Great to work wtih. Returned phone calls promptly. Showed up when they were suppose to. Fence is exactly what I asked for. Cleaned up nicely. Only found one or two nails that were burried in the dirt after they left. I would totally recommend them and would use them again.

They did an excellent job for us. They were on schedule and completed on time. They responded quickly to minor problems and were quick to call backs. They also compensated us for a construction problem we had to have fixed by our gardner. I would strongly recommend them .

Overall they did a good job. It was raining when they got started, so it was slopier than expected, but could not be helped. Any problems that occurred were addressed quickly. The foreman was always on site, and responded to any requests. One recommendation to future clients, is that check height of fences, as they do cutting of fence boards offsite (reduces costs). One of our problems was that boards on on section of fence varied significantly in height (5' 6" to 5' over 40 ft). They cut boards to 5' at the high end. When we pointed out the problem, they fixed it immediately.

The work was done well. I had a little trouble communicating with the workers. I did have to correct some of their work on the installation of the gates for orientation of good side versus structure side facing the right direction.

Felipe and Javier were Awesome! They arrived on time, performed high quality work, demolished and replaced both of my wooden fences, and built 3 gates in 2 days. That's over 156ft of fencing! They also removed an existing metal fence and post for me. And another existing wooden post which was cut off, protruding just 6 inches above the ground. A definite tripping hazard for my 2 young children. Javier went the extra mile to sort through the wooden boards to select the unblemished ones for my fence. Matt Fahy was very prompt, professional, provided the lowest bid, and quickest completion time compared to the other two vendors I contacted

Matt was great, he stayed in contact with me while i decided to use Coastal Lumber, when I called him to set up the date he was very flexible. they showed up on time and actually finished a half day early. the crew was courteous and did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. Oh yeah, the fence looks great too !!
