Overall was satisfied with coastal fence - the only downfall was I was told after giving down payment that it would be 2 weeks and I didn't hear from them until 8 weeks , only after my repeated phone calls.

The owner Arnold would better any price and his guy (Ian) the installer was excellent and very accomadating. We highly reccomend Coastal Fence. Thank You we love our fence.

BEWARE OF COASTAL FENCE ... YOU MUST READ THIS ... Arnold Faulhaber was very fast at taking a $4650 deposit. He wrote up a contract, emailed it, and mailed is via USPS. He said he was going to install an Interstate Fence. I happen to have called Interstate because I had a question about the warranty. Interstate asked who the dealer was, and when I said Coastal Fence ... they told me that Arnold Faulhaber was in default with them. They said he hadn't ordered the fence he was supposed to install at my house, and hadn't paid his bills with them on past orders. They said Coastal was in default with them, and that it was so bad, that Coastal was already in collections. When I asked Arnold about this, he said he wasn't going to do the job, and hung up on me. Did I ever receive my money back??? NO. I called Arnold several times, and it wasn't until I called his house (his home telephone # is listed under Arnold Faulhaber in Oakhurst NJ), did I get him on the phone. He gave me a song and dance about someone in his family being sick, and he would be out again to install the fence. Well, that never happened. So, about 6 weeks later, I am without my $4650 deposit, without a fence, and can't even get him to reply to me. I called his office#, his cell#, his home# and emailed him. NO REPLIES AT ALL. I already flagged Service Magic about this. The next step will be a Police report, then a lawsuit. Is he that stupid to think he is going to keep my money? I STRONGLY suggest you find someone else for your fence project. He is clearly a criminal. BEWARE.

Work was never started paid $375.

Costal Fence Co. knew exactly what I wanted and did exactly what we had discussed. I was unable to be there when the work was being done but there was no need to supervise because he is a professional in his field. He did a fine job and I recently came to see the finished product and was totally satisfied. I would recommend his company to anyone and I would use him again.

Coastal Fence was very quick to respond to my request and to discuss what I needed. The owner arrived at my home the following Saturday morning to go over what we wanted and I had a price very quickly. My situation was a little complicated by the fact that my property is in a town that requires the approval of the Historic Preservation Commission for any exterior work, and the approval process was surprisingly cumbersome and lengthy. Arnie was a gem to work with throughout all that. The end result was well worth waiting for. We love the fence. The yard looks great, better than we imagined. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Arnold was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They kept the schedule that they promised, had a very competitive price and the installation was professionally completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Coastal Fence to anyone.

There was an issue about the install that my wife and I were unhappy with, and that same day someone got back to me and in 24 hrs resolved the issue with much satisfaction. They were courteous, quick and really cared about the job they were doing. The product was good quality and the price was very competitive. The craftsmen skilled and expedient with no sacrifice to quality. An overall pleasant experience. Would recommend to family and co-workers.

Mr. Faulhaber contacted me immediately. I had several bids from other companies but he was the most reasonable. The crew was excellent and finished the installation very quickly. I would highly recommend Coastal Fencing and Rail Co.

Owner was misleading about the timing of the work

Excellent work, all of the men were very nice, did a great job and cleaned everything up. They were right on schedule and completed the job quickly.

They trampled through parts of garden. They cut a tree down to make room for the new fence post, which was put in the wrong place to begin with. Fence was crooked and loose. Large gaps left under the fence. Large old post holes were found-never filled in. Fence Locks put on outside not inside. Left part of old fence behind. We had to call Arnold to tell him all this. Apparently the boys he sent out never stated that the job was incomplete. As a result of my experience, I can not recommend their services.

Arnold went above and beyond to my requests.He showed when he said he would and when I wanted an open fence half thru the project he made it happen without any worries.I will definately refer Arnold and his crew for any fence job needed.Thank You Arnold!!!!If you ever need referrals they can contact us for a positive one!!!!
