Horrendous Experience with Coastal Pools - Stay Away! My experience w Coastal Pools of New Port Richey Florida and its owners Kyle and Trish was nothing short of a nightmare. While the initial consultations were impressive this proved to be a deceptive facade. Once we signed the contract & gave them deposit for a complete inground pool installation w waterfall feature true colors of this company emerged. Kyle and Trish are masters of manipulation and incredibly difficult to work with. They engaged in bait and switch tactics swapping out agreed-upon equipment and features for inferior substitutes without any notification or explanation. The pool pump and filter we received were completely different models and brands than what was specified in our contract. They showed us a picture of a beautiful waterfall we were supposed to receive, instead we got a leaky mess that looked like was made of leftover stones from other projects. The quality of the workmanship was shockingly poor.

Courteous, professional, did a good job on the pool design and service.

We are very pleased with the quality of our pool. The communication was terrific at the sale of the pool, and progressively declined to unprofessional with Mark at the finality. We were disappointed with that aspect, however, Trish was good with working with us. The contractors were courteous and friendly. They maintained quality workmanship throughout and fixed any problems that arose quickly. With the exception of Mark, the experience has been pleasant.

The contract was signed in Jan. I know Pasco takes a while but the permit was issued the end of feb, I was told to remove the fence and they would be there 2 weeks ago, still no sign and have not returned call

So far they have been great to work with. We're having trouble getting things off the ground because of permit issues but should be able to get started soon enough. I'll finish the rating once things are done.
