So how can a person call me 2 times to get free advice & give a crappy rating but still give a good review.. I should of got at least a 5 for value for the $$$ they spent.. I know it cost me $21.00 for them to call me.."

My 1st impression of the man I talked to was that he was extremely knowedgable, patient, & explained in detail how to handle my sister's storage unit. I took a shot in the dark when looking up mold experts as my sister was frustrated and very upset she may have lost all her mildew smelling belongings. Scott was the man who my sister decided to go with. We were both very happy for not only his expertise, and showing us the source, but also what she should keep, what to get rid of,& how to clean it BEFORE bringing it into her new apartment. Very nice man & I would absolutely highly recommend him & hire him if I was the one who needed a professional telling ME what kind of mold I had & then how to proceed.

"To start off, my personality is very straight forward and direct. I am very experienced at what I do and am the most knowledgeable at my profession. if this is taken as brash, you should hire a salesman next time. Im sure they will do a great job at making your home safe to live in. This client was in need of my services after hours. I catered to the clients request by going to his home to inspect at 6:30 pm. I also got a request the next morning on friday at 6:45 am to meet his carpenter that next morning.. I accommodated my schedule to meet them to tell them what they needed to remove. They requested to the client that I should take care of the mold issues & they would rebuild the structure. They wanted to schedule on Monday so they would stay on schedule. I reschedule my Monday appointment so that I could do the project on very short notice.. My rates are per Hr & the client agreed to it. To make statements that our rates are extremely expensive is absurd. I wanted to flat rate the project which would of been about $600.00 dollars more. I helped the client out by billing hourly, I accommodated by showing up after hrs, Re scheduled existing Appointments so that there contractor would stay on schedule, & showed up very early to do the work I said I was going to do. Most of the people hiring contractors would only wish for that kind of service.. Read the review below to see what a client that appreciated our services & expertise."

Quick call back, great service, and extremely high quality from start to finish. Scott is an expert in his field and it shows. He is significantly more expensive when it comes to testing and inspecting for mold, however, it was worth every penny. Not a stone (faceplate, trim, board :)) was left unturned. The mold remediation itself was done for significantly less than others, and done to the highest standard in a timely manner. The space was never cleaner, and he even took time to lay plastic on our hardwood floors/areas leading into the area of concern. Can't say enough about how happy we are with Cobak. He gave us piece of mind in a very difficult time.

He was very thorough and he was very competent but he charges way too much over $120 an hour plus trip charge found issues but gave no solution how to fix without paying him more for a report

Scott Santner with Cobak Environmental is highly recommended. My fiancee and I put our notification on HomeAdvisor, and got a call within 1 minute from Scott. He quickly made his schedule flexible to meet our needs in order to complete a mold inspection the same day! Scott not only found mold in the attic that any inspector would have come across, but also used a heat tracing Flir camera to spot molding issues on the first floor and in the basement to our surprise. We saved many thousands of dollars in work by hiring Scott, and I recommend you hire him too! He is thorough...

Scott was able to rule out mold and had me check out carbon monixide situation. When he was here I was so sick I was taken to ER immediately. Sure enough my carbon monoxide level was highly elevated. I never would have considered that as a problem if Scott had not alerted me. Thank you for potentially saving my life.
