I highly recommend Colbys Cactus Cowboys lawn service! This was my first time using him, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Colby was friendly, professional, arrived on time, and did an excellent job mowing and cleaning up the yard. My lawn looks neat and well maintained. It’s refreshing to find someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to the details. I will definitely be using his services again and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable lawn care.

Colby's Cactus Cowboys is delightful to work with! They take direction well, they are always willing to do small to large lawn jobs from restringing my clothes-line to taking out dead trees to cutting and trimming grass and weeds, to trimming dead branches off trees and hauling the branches off the property. Their attitude is excellent and are a joy to work with!

Colby’s Cactus Cowboys did a great job taking down 3 trees, trimming 2 trees, filling in a pond and placing and filling 2 large raised beds with soil. They worked efficiently and kept me informed on their progress. They were open to suggestions and provided knowledgeable advice. I would definitely hire them for any landscaping jobs in the future.

Colby was awesome! Not only a great attitude but he was well communicative, punctual, and got the job done so quick! I had a tree that needed to be removed and some overgrown weeds and pine needles. He was affordable and did such a great job

Colby was friendly and did the work I asked him, but I was not happy at the end. I thought he could of done a better job. I think he probably needed some help. I also felt he was not honest with the final invoice. He verbaly told me right from the beginning that each load to the dump would be $150.00. But on the invoice he charged me $200.00 per load + labor that totaled $865.00 Had he charged me like he said @ $150.00 per load + labor, I would of paid $715.00. Both totals have a $185.00 discount figured in. I feel I over paid $150.00. Again I think he was friendly and kind. But, I think he tried to cook in an extra $150.00 Update as of 07/02/26: Colby was not honest with me and the response to my earlier review. The reason he said I paid $138.00 per load to the dump, is because he bumped up the price to $200.00 per load. Colby made 3 loads, that equals $600.00. Then he gave me a $185.00 discount and that is $415.00 ÷ 3 = $138.33. Had Colby been honest, and charge me $150.00, like he said he would. I would have paid 3 × $150.00 = $450 then give me the $185 = $265.00 ÷. 3 = $88.33. I sugguest you be honest in the future.

These guys do really great work at a super fair price! I had let my yard get out of control little bit last year and needed some help getting it cleaned up and looking good again. Full lawn cleanup and weed removal mulch. Basically they did a full facelift on my lawn. It looks really really good now. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Communication was great. Employees that came to do the job were awesome. Couldn't ask for anything more. Colby and Ariel did great work. Highly recommend.

Colby and his crew were AMAZING! They cleaned a greatly neglected yard, trimmed back shrubs and offered additional services. I had a large area of rock that needed to be removed off of my property. They came to my house and removed it quickly and efficiently. I could not have asked for a better job.

Call me as one of the nicest people we’ve met in Colorado Springs and we’ve lived here for almost 30 years! He is a great communicator, a hard worker and does what he says he’s going to do! We will definitely be calling him again for any of our other landscaping needs!

Colby and his team installed a French Drain system for me, troubleshooting a great plan for my small lot. They also put in mulch and sod. Not only is the drainage much better, it looks beautiful too! They were wonderful to work with and I will absolutely use them again for future projects.

The Cactus Cowboys, LLC did an outstanding job landscaping my front and backyard design and installation. I was so impressed with the owner, Colby and his creativity in designing a new front and back yard. Colby was very patient with me in listening to what and and how I wanted my yard designed. Colby came back with a beautiful soutwestern design with the beautiful flagstone, and created a path clear through my front yard and a very unique design in my backyard.

Colby did an excellent job hanging up a curtain rod for me a for me. I always have trouble doing the anchors into the drywall so I hired Colby. He was on time, professional, reasonably priced, and even offered to remove some of the box trash I had from ordering furniture for my office. 10/10 would hire again and recommend.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have Colby’s Cactus Cowboys for our snow removal. Colby is extremely reliable - he always contacts us in a timely manner to schedule our clearing, and shows up when he says he will. The quality of his work was great, he’s really friendly and his fees are very competitive. Colby has made being able to get the car out of the garage worry free and I can’t say enough good things about him. His type are hard to find. 😊

Hired Colby to remove Christmas lights from the roof of my house, and he did an excellent job. He showed up early, was professional, and got right to work without wasting any time.
