I was in a difficult situation. I had an HVAC packaged unit in an outdoor closet on my balcony. This unit was beyond repair. Eroded coils were getting into the drain line and causing leaks, breakdowns were happening during the hottest days of the summer, and there was nothing that could be done to salvage it. Finding an HVAC contractor is comparable to online dating. You either meet some slimy characters, get ghosted, or end up with fatigue. The dimensions of this existing unit were specific and this job was going to be anything but easy. To make matters worse, coming across the necessary unit was truly an ordeal. Landing Giovanni and his crew was an instance of getting extremely lucky. From the start, he put me at ease with this situation from hell and promised he'd find a replacement unit. Within a day or two, the impossible happened -- he sent me a quote with the appropriate replacement. Aside from tracking down this unit, he was extremely reasonable with his price. Water damage is the kind of situation no one would want to find themselves in. Furthermore, realizing that original ductwork was installed by someone clearly under the influence (no filters or places to put one in) left me feeling powerless. Looking for an HVAC pro is extremely difficult and most likely, you will need a shower because most of these guys are gross with how they do business. I am so thankful to have found Cold Air LLC. Having an honest team on your side who wants to make sure the job is done well and maintain a long-term relationship is something every homeowner should strive for. Giovanni was transparent at every step. Cold Air LLC took on a horrendous situation and made it perfect. My ducts and HVAC system are now in top-notch shape. Do not go elsewhere for help! He treats his customers as if they were his only ones. He is accessible and puts the needs of the customer first. Anybody needing HVAC or refrigerant work needs to call him.

I hired the company for replacing one mini split. The installation was perfect. After that I decided to replace the central air as well. The job was difficult but they managed it very well. I would hire them again.

Giovanni has been a dream to work with. He helped us repair the damage left by a previous HVAC company. Last fall we were cheated by another HVAC company who convinced us to buy low-quality mini-splits and then did such a shoddy job installing them that the units stopped working by the next day. After a frustrating few months of trying to get the original company to repair their damage, they disappeared. But thankfully we found Giovanni. He came to our house at the agreed-upon time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the units fixed in an hour. We are extremely impressed with Giovanni's expertise, his dedication, and his amazing customer service. Giovanni and Johnny were both incredibly respectful of us and our house. They wore masks and foot coverings. Most importantly, they carefully explained their work every step of the way.

They did an excellent job and I am referring him to my church for their AC unit. They were efficient and did the work in the time they said they would. They went above and beyond and installed a grill cover made custom for us at no cost to accommodate a child guard protection cover.

I am so greatful for the help we received from Giovanni and his staff. Our boiler circulator pump malfuctioned and we lost heat during very cold weather. He came right away and diagnosed our problems. We could see right away that he was very knowledgeable and competent. But we also really appreciated how extremely respectful and pleasant he was, which made the stress of losing heat much easier to deal with. His prices are very reasonable, but what was priceless for us was that he took his time to explain everything so well and show us each step of the repairs. He is extremely articulate, and we ended up not only with a repaired boiler, but much better knowledge of our system. The work Giovanni and his staff did was excellent, we really appreciate all their help.
