Just excessively expensive for the amount of material removed and time... Charged about $200.00 for a less than a 1/4 hours work and about 35 lbs of refuge. Very disappointed!

If I could give them a ZERO I would. I had 2 written offers from two other companies, both for $100 to have a large desk removed. College Hunks quoted me $90 so we went with them. Had the guys come up, looked at the desk and they said $90 to $120. Based on volume. Little more than we wanted but whatever. That desk was literally the last thing we needed to be removed from our apartment so we aid ok at the 120 being max. Somehow they got the desk downstairs it went to $205. My ENTIRE move with a moving company was $637 for 6 hours of work moving a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor to a 3 story townhouse. College Hunks charged me 1/3 my entire move for 1 lousy desk! $205 for ONE DESK!!! When I contacted College Hunks they made a claim number and told me the franchise has 3 days to contact me. 3 days? So I have to wait even more time to just talk to someone about them changing the price as soon as it was downstairs? Run away. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will lie to your face. Save your money and go ANYWHERE else and you will be treated better.
