Steven arrived on time for our appointment and each day he came to work. He took time to explain the how and why of the repair, the sanding and the finishing processes. Steven is patient, professional, experienced and knows his product very well. His assistant Tom was so polite and helpful as well. I would recommend Colonial Hardwood Flooring to anyone needing wood flooring.

Our floors turned out beautifully. Steven came on time and made an estimate immediately. They started they job on time, but did not finish when promised, but it was worth the wait.

My subfloor was even. Steve sanded the floor down and installed the wood. When he completed the room, it far exceeded my expectations. It is beginning to look like a 5 star hotel getaway. The owner was on time to our initial sales meeting, took the time to discuss the project and answer questions, was flexible with dates and gave the best price. When the job started, he arrived early, stayed on the job and kept me informed of what was going on at each step. Finally, work was completed ahead of schedule, and he provided instructions on floor care and how to touch up any scratches. Excellent work, would use them again and recommend him to friends.

I was very happy with the workmanship provided by Colonial. Steven, the owner, was on the job site throughout both projects that I contracted with him. I loved the refinishing job that they did on my first floor so much, that I also hired Steven to install a new hardwood floor in our den, which previously only had carpeting. I am a perfectionist, and Steven did an outstanding job that met all of my expectations. I have already recommended him to many of my friends, and would recommend him to anyone wanting any wood flooring work done correctly and at a fair price. You will not be disppointed.

Mr. Sherman was neat, accurate and did all the work as promised. He was punctual and cleaned up after he was finished. The finished job was even better than what we had expected. He also made us door saddles and he matched their color with the existing, finished floorwork perfectly.

Glad I hired Steve and his partner. They showed up when expected for the estimate and the job, did excellent work at a truly reasonable price, and professionally cleaned up the area when finished. Who knew that my old, painted oak stairs could look as nice and restored as they do now! The guys also offered tips for keeping the area looking like new and prices on other work I'm thinking of completing at a later date. Excellent choice for your wood floor project!

Steve was highly professional. He came to estimate the work on a Sunday and it was completed by the following Thursday. He was honest and reasonable and he and his workers were experienced and efficient. I feel I got a good price and as a good a job as possible. We love our new look!
