We began our solar project with Colorado Solar Energy, following a visit by Ted Palpant to analyse our solar needs. Over the period of a couple of years, working in stages, we first installed two grid tie solar trackers, then a 5.5kw VAWT, then 8 panels for domestic hot water, then an additional tracker with batteries, so that if we lost the grid we could still use all the trackers and wind to supply the house electrical. Ted and his crew are a total pleasure to work with, and they even allowed me to do some of the infrastructure work. We had one inverter fail, which they replaced under warranty in just a few days. You cannot do better for all your solar needs, which starts with sizing the system correctly for your particular needs.

The company sent a specialist to review our needs and make a proposal. We are considering the proposal and haven't had them install it yet, but when we move ahead they will definitely be who we have to do the work. Very professional and spent as much time as needed to ensure we understood the system we would contract to have them install.

Ted is a good honest man. Always goes above and beyond during the project and helps out if there ever is an issue with my system. We did a lot of research on solar systems and Ted's estimate was right in line with what we wanted and needed. He even replaced a panel that was broken and out of warranty for no charge to me. Great customer service and I have referred him to others.
