During the installation we discovered that there was dry rot in the casings and siding around the windows. The installation team went above and beyond -- installing new casings using materials I supplied. Unfortunately, they missed calking the top of one of the windows (the highest and most difficult one to get at). I discovered this when I was painting the new casings and added the calking. This is not an issue considering all the extra work and time the crew spent doing the whole job. I plan to use this company when I replace the next set of windows.

Salesman was excellent. Windows had to be ordered because old (70 years) house, each window custom measured, but once the windows were in installation proceeded and in two days job was done. Not sure how much I saved in heating/cooling costs over old, metal, single-pane windows, but obviously something. Hard to figure when annual temps differ and price of gas/electricity going up. However, I'd venture to say that I didn't save as much as salesman projected.

They were honest and straightforward and did the job in about two days. We had one issue with sliding door and they came and fixed it immediately. They were responsive for the most part and did a good job. We feel the quality is good and the price was below other quotes.

Great experience with sales team, and measuring. Had a couple hitches with installation, but they quickly came out and fixed the problems. I am very happy with the quality of my new windows. I went back to them to look at their front entry door selection. Definitely recommend!

If you do not mind waiting 10 weeks for windows then go for it. Great people slow production. The entire house was remodeled in 65 days with 8 sub contractors all completed before this company could get their product built. Our home is done and we still are waiting on the windows. Great salesman, production slow. Happy with our final installed windows. Still need a patio slider.

Colorado Window Source has a good quality product for a good price - but you get what you pay for. They didn't clean up after themselves very well, nor did they clean the windows after installation. The guy who came out to measure asked more questions than he could answer. Conversations about my options left me feeling more confused than confident that I was making the right choice. We saved enough over the competition to justify the hassle, though. The windows are in now, job was done in a timely manner, good price.

Clean up could have been better. More consideration of owner's property would have been appreciated (more protection). It was a difficult old window removal but they did a good job on the tear out and install.

Although we were told windows were measured to correct size, the installers had to do some "tweaking" to get the windows to fit by rebuilding around window openings.

Kurt was easygoing and upfront with the estimate. Installation team was superb from measurement to installation. I would not hesitate to use Colorado Window Source again or recommend this company to a friend. A window broke in shipment from the factory to CO Window Source and they were prompt in providing a replacement.

they did a very good job, even came back and repaired the cracks in the window sills and wall, and repaired a vinyl strip on a window they did not install. Be sure and ask for a receipt with the tax credit.

They did the job on schedule, cleaned up as they went along, were very courteous and comfortable to work with. They are a very professional group. I highly recommend them and two of my friends are planning to contact them soon.

Window job was fantastic and would recommend Colorado Window Source, however I would not recommend them for siding. We had our siding done in February (it is now June). The installers left scraps and foam in our yard and one of the gable vent trim has just fallen off (this is the 2nd one since the siding was put up). We have called to have them put it back up and so far after a week nothing has been done. Also, the siders put a screw through an electrical wire that shorted out our electricty through part of the house. This required a professional electrician to fix it. CWS provided the electrican and fixed the job.
