Paid Kevin to do my roof in 2009. Paid for the up graded 50 year shingle $1575 and heavier felt paper $1275. Called GAF today for warranty info for new insurance company, and Kevin never submitted warranty. Warranty had to be submitted by a certified installer. Kevin Colwell of Colwell Construction is friendly. Gave me a reasonable quote for my roof. The quote nearly matched the insurance adjusters quote. Turn around from when I hired him to completion of the new roof was faster than I expected. I'm happy with my new roof.

He didnt know the size of my roof, but yet said he ordered the right amount of shingles took all the left over ones with him, his workers kept using my ladder leaving it extended on side house or on ground, did not put the screws or nails back on the siding on the celirium roof which in turn caused it to fall slide down, did not install gutter guards which were in the quote, tried several times and sent pics and all the nails left in my gutters, called texted no response, would not give me paperwork on my roof or receipts I asked for several times....seemed like a nice honorable guy, until after ...I ended up having my boyfriend his son fix siding so it wouldn't continue to come off and get out ton of nails out my gutters...even after I told him about the awful service my mom went threw with roofers I really thought could of trusted him...lesson learned.....

Kevin came out and gave me an estimate on a roof replacement.He had the roof done in one day . Clean up was great no nails in the yard no scraps of shingles ,He ordered a window and it is being made to finish out this project. I would use them again for other projects .

Unprofessional and disrespectful! Painters showed up with inadequate supplies for the job. The painters borrowed several of my items to perform their painting tasks even though Colwell Construction received payment to purchase all needed supplies. The painters left behind a HUGE paint splatter mess that required several hours to clean up. When Mr. Colwell visited to collect the final payment, I advised him of the paint splatter issues. He did not attempt to inspect the freshly painted rooms but was more interested in receiving the check versus ensuring a quality job and customer satisfaction. The patched water spots began peeling a few weeks after the ceiling painting was performed. Despite repeated attempts asking Mr. Colwell to visit and inspect the paint peeling issues, he has yet to make an effort to do so. He has made sad excuses as to why he cannot perform a customer service visit and, simply gave excuses over the phone and talked to me like I was ignorant. I am tired of asking the irresponsible Mr. Colwell to address this issue, as he does not care that his men performed an awful job that will have to be re-done.

Kevin gave me a price for a new roof. His quote was very reasonable and completed the project one day. I would highly recommend his company and he was very professional.

Great work! Thoroughly checked everything and went above and beyond. Our project became bigger than we expected due to some issues that were found but Colwell construction got everything done in a great time frame, were super personable and kept us knowledgeable about what was going on through the entire process and has great rates. You can t beat it!

they did the job early and clean up everything. There prices were good. I'm looking to have them put window in also.

We bought our own shingles and then got several quotes for the labor and other materials. Kevin s quote was competitive and he seemed very knowledgeable about the type of shingle we bought and the way to install it (they are somewhat nonstandard). Getting on his schedule took a little time, but once scheduled the crew showed up, did the job well, were a friendly and courteous group, and cleaned everything up. We own several properties and will definitely use Colwell again.
