Mike was thorough and knowledgeable and very responsive. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person but his employees were there when they said they would be and installed a brand new gas pack and pad with no issues (and took our old one without me stressing about it). Whenever I called Mike, he always answered his phone and was helpful. I do house flips and would definitely use ComfortMax/Mike again. Maybe I'll meet him someday! :)

I have to say that we've used Comfortmax over the years, but Mike really stepped up for us! Our air went out and we had another company come and check (never again!). I was told our A/C had to be replaced, which we feared, but the other company said it would take 3-4 weeks to get it in! Wait! What?! So, I called Comfortmax and Mike answered. He said he'd come out the next day (which was a Saturday) and look it over. He came out, explained that it had to be replaced, but could do it within 2-3 days with our warranty company! 3 days later, the guys came out, put in our new A/C, and we were good to go! So, if you need quality craftsmanship, Professional associates, and Outstanding Customer Service, you need to call Mike and his team at Comfortmax!

Michael Goldberg saved me a bundle. The line set on a system he replaced runs beneath my concrete driveway. Other vendors, believing the line set to be leaking, recommended the expensive and unsightly relocation of both the condenser and the line set. Michael instead verified the integrity of the existing line set with a pressure test and two vacuum tests. The system he replaced now works just fine at the original location with the original line set. Michael also replaced the furnace and evaporation coil of a second system. Mecklenburg County's inspector later complimented the installation and praised ComfortMax as a "quality outfit." I second that.

I have known Michael Goldberg for many years and always had Comfortmax service my HVAC system for years and they always did a fantastic job. After 20 years I decided to have Mike and his team replace my HVAC unit in the back of my house and in the attic including replacement of all duct work. Mike's crew Gene Cain, Conner & Hunter arrived on time to remove the older HVAC unit and then build the new RUDD HVAC unit in the Attic and the new compressor installation in the backyard. The team worked all day to get this project done and even Mike came onsite to see how the project was going and everything went GREAT. Mike's team was professional in doing all of the installation in my attic and backyard. Gene constantly kept me in the loop of any issues and there were NONE. Gene also installed a Wireless Ecobee Thermostat and what a great job they all did for me and my family today. I met a lot of company's in my 25 years in Charlotte NC and Comfortmax made me feel like part of there family. Mike runs a great company and the peace of mind that I was getting the best service and installation without paying more than I needed for my project. Mike and his team are HONEST, PROFESSIONAL and do a fantastic job. If I could give comfortmax a 10 I would do to Honesty is hard to find until I met Mike Goldberg and team. After the job was completed Gene Cain stopped by my house the next morning to make sure all went well and made sure that the new HVAC system was working correctly. Did a total replacement of heat pump system in my condo. New interior unit was a tight fit. The installation was good, but I feel more measurements should have been taken prior to install to plan out the fit issues and repositioning of the electrical cut off box and drain pipes. But installers were courteous and knowledgeable. I chose them because of price. Almost $2,400 less than all the other comparable 15 SEER systems I looked at because they are a small company. "A" rated BBB and no complaints over 5-years. I wpuld recommend them!

I was given attention need on the first day after the inquiry was made. They offered to come out immediately and to diagnose the problem, which worked out well. He explained the obvious items of the repair. After giving notice to proceed, he ordered the parts. When the parts arrived, the repair was completed shortly thereafter. Great Job!

Comfortmax responded promptly to my request to have our furnace checked and cleaned in preparation for the winter months. A thorough check was done and a recommended repair done right then and there. It was so nice to deal with someone (Tom) so pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional especially since we are new to the area.
