From start to finish, Michael(owner)and his team delivered an EXCEPTIONAL experience that went far beyond just replacing a roof. Michael was personally involved in every step of the process. The day before the job, he and his right-hand man came out to set up protective cloth barriers around our flower beds to prevent nails from falling into them, a detail I had never seen from any contractor before. I also had newly installed grass I was concerned about, and without hesitation Michael put up barriers to ensure his crew wouldn't step on it. That level of care and attention told me everything I needed to know about how he runs his business. His crew arrived at 6am and worked a full day until 6pm, completing the entire roof replacement in one day. Michael even took care of his workers throughout the day by providing coffee and possibly lunch. A man who treats his crew well treats his customers well too. That speaks volumes about his character. On pricing, Common Bond was the clear winner. Another company quoted us nearly $40,000 and the salesman would not leave our home! Michael came in well below that without compromising on quality. We found Common Bond because our neighbor used them and we were impressed watching the efficiency of their work firsthand. We called Michael directly and the rest is history. Common Bond Roofing: Recently, I had my roof replaced by Common Bond Roofing and I must say it was a great experience. In detail, the owner of the company was the most knowledgeable, professional and personable contractor I have ever dealt with. He was very patient as I was indecisive about picking the color of shingles. Once past that, what ever questions I raised He, Michael Carlisle, was able to provide an answer backed by verifiable data and personal experiences. I loved the fact he provides a real legal contract, not a summary text of the work to be performed, but a contract outlining the work, timing of completion and other legal information you need to know and can execute on. The crew was professionally dressed so that each was recognizable with the company’s name visible. They too were cordial, professional and amazing to watch as they executed the work. When the job was completed and it was completed on time, they cleaned up and nothing was left but a beautiful roof and a company sign. I was able to send the contract and information about the roofing materials used to my insurance company for consideration for a discount to my Insurance premium. Responsive, professional, and prepared. No BS. Great communication. Just what you want in a roofer. They did a great job handling the roof replacement on my 3 story townhouse with tight spaces around it.
