Heat Pump Installation and Replacement
After using the their new Heat Pump and furnace for 8 months we believe this unit performs as they advertise. They back up their products and services to the hilt. The heat pump allows us to air condition our house almost constantly, only opening up the house after rains or when the allergens and pollutions are low. Providing better health as we run air purifiers. We put the furnace fan on high when working out or if a true need arises to ventilate the house. Wow, does it move the air. Normally we keep it on low giving us all the air movement we need without using any fans including ceiling. Best part-They have us covered for 12 years. We do nothing, and pay nothing more for 12 years. Why do I believe they will honor the agreement? Cause my Dad has been using Compass for longer than that he backs up these claims

Our 3-year-old water heater failed. It had been installed by Compass. I contacted Mike, the owner. He sent a tech out the next morning to inspect and deemed it a warranty failure. A new replacement heater was installed 2 days later by 2 experienced techs. They were on time, neat, and respectful of our house. It's been working fine ever since. We highly recommend Compass for your HVAC needs.

I hired Mike to install a new furnace, after the furnace was installed I noticed I have no sense of smell anymore because of the fumes, the furnace is putting out toxins that is hurting our health and made us sick, I have asked Mike to give me the model number and the serial number and he has refused too, the furnace blew a fuse and when that happened we had no problems, this furnace is a fire hazard,

Servicing our AC was great. Tech was very courteous, knowledgeable, spent lots of time talking to my husband and I about what our options were for replacement. Quote for a new AC/furnace was high, but we liked everything else about our tech and the service from start to finish.

The service guy was really trying to replace my furnace and AC despite the fact that the furnace is only 10 years old. I felt pressured. I told him to perform only maintenance required to prolong the life of the AC. It was more pricey than competitors

Scott was great! Came out to measure on a Saturday and performed the installation of the humidifier, we also asked him to do a furnace check and replace the insulation on the air conditioner connections. No problem, he did it all with exceptional quality and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely look to Scott and compass for any future HVAC needs.

Russ called the same day and was out to the house within the week (non-emergency). They have a maintenance agreement that seems like a good deal. He'll be out again to check the AC in the spring and alerted me to some potential issues that need to be addressed. Not a hard sell, just making us aware of what might be coming down the pike.

I have worked for a heating and air conditioning manufacturer for 30 years. I have worked with lots of contractors in the Chicago area. When my family woke up to a cold house at the start of a holiday weekend, I knew there was no need to panic, even though the temperature outside was below zero. I also knew I needed to call Compass right away. Communication from beginning to end was impeccable. Extremely fair pricing. Mike had our furnace up and running in time for lunch. Russ called 15 minuets prior to arrival, which was right in my scheduled time frame. He was very nice and I professionally. Did the job in the time he said it would take. Cleaned up after himself. I plan on calling him in the spring to clean my air conditioning
