Very nice to deal with. They returned call promptly. They came the next day. I had 2 trees pruned. Very happy with the results. I would recommend them highly.

We contacted Competition Tree on removing several dried trees and two bushes. Rich called me back and text me an appointment in time. They not only completed all requested job cleanly and efficiently, but also suggested to remove a not sightly big leaning branch off a tree with a little extra fee. They were professional. The price was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Rich's team to any one who needs the service.

This company is amazing. Please don’t even think about, it use them!! They are reasonably priced and the job is completely professional. They worked fast (I had 5 trees down). They raked and cleaned. It looks beautiful! I really can’t say enough. Wonderful.

Rich and his crew are super friendly, easy to speak to. His estimates are clearly explained as well as priced better than other estimates I’ve gotten. They took down 12 or so 13foot trees in my backyard in appx 90 mins. They worked, quickly efficiently and cleaned up afterwards making my life so much easier after they left the job. I have used Competition Tree service for many years, Rich, and his staff are the most honest, most professional tree company I have ever used! They are always reliable, punctual, extremely careful with their work ! They are always there for you in an emergency storm situation or for just routine tree trimming. Rich does exactly what he promises you and is hands on the job! His staff is also excellent! Definitely a five star company. Rich responded to my request for a quote quickly. He agreed to our home the next morning. His quote was between two earlier quotes I had received over the previous two months. I knew he was serious because her wrote down what I was asking for. I signed the agreement listing what was to be done and the price I was to pay. I told him I wanted the work done as soon a possible and he told me he would call me back with a date. He called me with a firm date. The job was completed today and I am fully satisfied with the work.

Rich to the rescue, again! Weâ ve used Competition Tree Service before and Rich followed through on time and adhered to his estimate once more. Rich is professional and pleasant, not to mention honest and reliable and his employees are hard-working and extremely thorough. We will ONLY hire Competition Tree Service for any future jobs.

Did not do adequate clean up on their own. Needed to oversee the job and tell them they left a lot of cuttings behind. For the amount charged, not good.

I have been dealing with Competition Tree and Rich Glaser for at least 20 years. He has done work at our home in Dix Hills many times, fairly-priced, always with prompt, professional workers and good cleanup. On a recent project Rich's crew broke a sprinkler head, which their contract states they are not responsible for. Rich made it a point to make several trips back to our property to inspect the damage and returned with a brand new sprinkler head at no cost to me. Truly went the distance, a class act. Would, and have, recommend Competition Tree and Rich Glaser anytime.

I would recommend this company. They call with expected time of arrival, showed up on time and did work.

He showed up for the price quote when he said he would and came to do the work at the time and date promised. I felt it was a fair price that he charged and he did a great job of grinding down about a dozen stumps in my yard.
