Concrete Solutions

We hired Eddy Muller(DBA Concrete solutions) in September to do a simple backyard patio. (Approx. 9 days of concrete). Eddy completed the job promptly and was paid in full. Within 3 days, it was cracked around our pergola posts. We contacted him, and he said that he should have put buckets around the posts to keep that from happening. He agreed to re-pour the part of the patio that had cracked with the agreement that we would cover the cost of the concrete ($400), and he would do the labor. Over the next couple of weeks, the concrete was broken up by his workers but not removed for 4-5 weeks. I received an email from Eddy stating he would like to pour the new concrete on Thursday, November 5th, a 75degree day. Eddy was a no-show. He arrived on November 9th after a weekend of snow and poured in 32 degrees (low of 27). No blankets or cover on the new pour. The new concrete has not cured properly and has water damage from our pergola as it warmed up enough for snowmelt to drip on the uncured concrete. Since that pour, we have not heard from him, and it is still not completed. Today we received in the mail a claim that the concrete supply company he used is putting a Mechanic Lien on our home because Eddy never paid them for the concrete material used in the initial pour. Nor has he paid them for the material used in the second pour. I am assuming we will get a second Mechanic Lien for this invoice. Today I did some more in-depth research and unfortunately, we are not the only victims of Eddy. Please find yourself a trustworthy contractor, do not hire Concrete Solutions. They are only concrete problems.
