Consolidated Property Maintenance

I was not satisfied with the work done on my fence and was promised by the individual who did the work that he would come back and fix the problem. Have not seen or heard from him and the work was done a little over a year ago and is already falling apart. I will never use him again.

I had an agreement via email with Kevin and gave a 40% deposit to Kevin that was a total of $4,500 with progress payments. There are several safety issues the customer is concerned with that the contractor has done. A 10 day quoted project turned into 30. There is breakage in tiles and the boxes of tile the customer wanted to to return are missing. There is still gaps after installing the patio door. Replaced door with wrong door. There is also gaps in the baseboards , Kevin has not got back to me

Kevin did not complete the job after numerous attempts to contact him. His promises went unfulfilled.

Sorry I ever had this man recommend to me.Do not use him. He has $600.00 of my up front money, he never showed up or repaired anything. I am reporting him to the Nashville-Metro Police for theft.

He starts out being nice as if he knows everything and does not complete his work. Left us in a horrible situation on not finishing the outside door and asking for more money. Wanted to put a storm door up before the door framing was completed.

Great job! Ran into some bee problems and some of the wood needed to be replaced. They kept in contact with me and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them for more work around my house! Their quote and the extra work involved came way under what another company had bid without the wood replacement and bee problem! Thank you for taking such great care of me!!!

UPDATE!!!! I spoke with him and agreed to remove negative comments.... since then he has still not shown up. My mother has dementia and has been crying every day to come which he knows about this. I still have my disfigured floor where she can trip on.... PLEASE DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!! this has been my experience. yours may end differently Beware!! Beware!!!! Beware!!!! Do not hire!!! He has left me with an uneven floor with broken glass tiles knowing I have my elderly mother staying with me and can fall on the uneven floor at any time!! There are also broken glass tiles as well that anyone can cut their feet on if walking barefoot. The tiles have broken because he has laid them on the uneven floor that he couldn't even out so he just tiled on top of it. There is a slope/indent in my floor now because of him. My mother uses a walker and drags her feet. She is 88 years old and can't bend her legs. I spoke to him about this and about the safety of my ceiling (Which he never sent me pictures of) and all he referred to was his million dollar insurance policy. So I guess he means that it doesn't matter if my mother gets hurt or dies as long as HE has insurance. I had to relocate my mother to my brothers house while he worked on my ceiling due to the dust, (which I had to hire a professional to clean up after him) multiple times. It was supposed to be a day or 2 tops which wound up taking over 2 weeks because he continuously didn't show up and I had to track him down. He is loaded with excuse after excuse after excuse. Started a 4 day job at the end of April and IS STILL not finished. I have cameras in my house and I watched his worker stand on my furniture to reach the ceiling rather than use a ladder. No drop cloths on floor. Does not answer the phone nor texts. Has abandoned materials at my house. I have multiple pics that I can forward to anyone for inspection or would love to upload them on this site. He never sent me pics of the ceiling work as well. Never on time, missed many appts and now is nowhere to be found. I even had to give him 400 so he can make his payroll because I assume he can't manage his money/jobs and I was kind enough to help him out. I also changed my front door combination in lieu of retaliation This is MY experience. Yours may differ but beware.... He asks for upfront money, does the bulk of the work and then disappears ESPECIALLY when he does it wrong and has to correct it. I have called Home Advisor multiple times while dealing with this.

I hired Kevin to do a few thing for me, they installed lights, a faucet, shower head and a garage disposal, the faucet was loose, the shower head had a leak and a couple of the lights were not installed properly, I called Kevin and he said he would come out to take care of it and never showed, I had to hire another plumber the fix the shower head and I paid them $140, I was told there was no plumbers tape used, I had the fix the loose sink, and the electrical problem myself, plus I have to hire a drywall person to repair the wall

We gave Kevin a 40% deposit on 12/14/2018 to purchase supplies and begin repairing problems on several hundred feet of chain link fence. As of today, we have approximately fifty feet mostly repaired but not completely. When we hired Kevin, he seemed very knowledgeable and we felt confident that he would do a good job. I still feel that if he had taken on our project and completed it within a few days, we would have been very satisfied. Lack of communications has been his biggest problem with our project. I rarely could get in touch with him by phone and could never leave a voicemail message because his voicemail box was always full. I would send e-mails and text messages and not receive a response. I know he is very busy juggling the many jobs coming his way, but we felt like we were constantly being overlooked so that he could knock out the smaller projects he could complete quickly. That may or may not be the case, but for whatever reason, we have felt neglected. We have accepted our losses and will be looking for another contractor.

Expensive

He did not finish the project, the quality is poor. Some of the boards are bending and he is not responding.

I think fence repair in general is to expensive

More cautious when hiring. Paid deposit and work has not been done.

Bad experience. I did not get what I was told at all. I was told it would take 2 men and 2 days to do the job. I got one man and 4 hours. Labor. They did not finish the job.

Paid $250 just to have my door mutilated during the install of a dog door. Promised to come fix twice and never showed up or returned my messages.

Kevin did a great job. I was so impressed when he told me he could be here in two hours. That was a first!

Removed a mirror over my bathroom sink... knocked off cabinet in 2 places and did not bother to show it or mention it to me.

Replaced a mailbox inside a brick sidewalk mailbox. Tricky project and did a good job.

Get several bids before having work done. I thought the charge was a bit too high because the work was so quick and easy.

Hired Kevin to re-hang shutters in a more secure way. The pins that were originally used kept shearing off in high winds. I told Kevin that we needed them installed very secured. I bought masonry screws and screw caps and Kevin said he had a better way to secure them. Last week when the storm came through a shutter blew off. I discovered the screws were installed with little strips of wood in the holes. Not secure at all. We've been calling him every day since this happened and have not received any response at all. I will never use him again.

Kevin had great communication with me about the job and price. He arrived promptly, was very personable, did really great work, and did a good job of cleaning up after! Highly recommend!

Fast service; he was able to start on project the day I called. Project was completed quickly and quietly. Excellent work.
