"Dear Mrs. Brown: You were completely satisfied with the labor performed at your home to install 2 new faucets, a ceiling fan with lights, and then you added 2 GFI outlets for your two bathrooms. A licensed electrician was subcontracted for your electrical issue. You have not paid the full amount you agreed to by signing the contract for services. Additionally, when you called you were informed that during the hurricane season we were helping our community with minor handyman repairs since most contractors and handymen went to help a neighboring parish after Laura completely destroyed their homes, business, etc. Your job was completed on a weekend, not our normal business hours. We accommodated you in every way since we were under the impression that you were frail and may have a serious water leak causing damage to your home. That was also not the case and our master carpenter lost his Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday to complete your handyman services, which could have waited until normal business hours. We also applied a senior citizen discount to your proposed contract, which you signed. Construction Depot, LLP lost about $450 in labor because you refused to pay more than $650 for 28 hours of labor by a master carpenter who is paid $55 an hour and then the licensed electrician, which is required by the laws of our state who charged my company $300 for his 2 hours on a weekend. I am sorry you are not happy that we are no longer doing handyman work and referred to find a handyman in your area. We are hopeful that you find a handyman in your area that is not 1 hour and 15 minutes away from your home. Respectfully, Bodacious McCullaugh, Veteran/Co-Owner."
