Zak Nash the owner will absolutely steal your money and not finish your project. He has stolen from us and countless other families, literally running their lives. He does not care about anyone but himself. If you currently have a project with him hire an attorney asap.

I hired Zak (Construction Kings) to replace a poor constructed deck and to install a patio cover. Zak promised to deliver what we contracted for. Zak has lied to us from day one. Zak has delivered nothing. He tried to hire a subcontractor (Euro Deck) to complete the project however the subcontractor stopped work because Zak owes him money for unpaid work on other projects as well as mine.

ZERO STARS! CONMEN ALERT! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! This company and Zak (owner) are conmen. They will take your money and you may never hear from them again. If you do hear back it is nothing but excuses and lies about project start dates and reasons why they can not start your project within the timeline discussed. I signed my contract over a year ago and since then have asked for my money back at least 3 times. I got a call from the owner who I could tell was refusing to put anything in writing. He assured me that my project and permit would move forward, but I have not heard from him since! Even if they had moved forward with my project, based on other reviews, I would have gotten a finished project that I would not be happy with and it would have issues almost guaranteed. Zak and Construction Kings is what is wrong with this industry and why it is so hard to trust anyone. AGAIN, I can say this enough. RUN away from doing any business with this company (

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND COMPANY! Please do not give them any more of your hard earned money and subs should stay far away. I imagine they started their company with good intentions hence the positive reviews in 2023-2024. Things quickly went downhill after we signed a contract in July of 2024 to have a new concrete patio with a patio cover and custom outdoor kitchen island installed. They require 50% non-refundable deposit (should have been our first red flag) to even get your project in the queue. Then you get ghosted for months. They absolutely use subcontractors even though they sell you on their lie that they only use in house craftsmen. They installed a new patio in 2024 but didn?t start the next phase of the patio cover until 9/2025! They removed part of the new patio to install footings (should have been installed at the time of the pour) and attempted to patch the sections with hand mixed concrete that looks horrible. They have refused to replace the patio or reimburse.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Zak is a con-artist and hires criminals like him to do work. Shotty work, at best. They are PAYING people to put false reviews up. How do I know that? Blake called and offered us money from Construction Kings, and he said he would give $1K out of his own pocket to remove my google review and put a 5 star up. I have integrity unlike anyone in tis company. Our project took 2 years, and never even got completely finished. We hired an attorney. I get multiple calls a month from others with the same story. Many have hired attorneys. Our project was over $100k. RUN FROM THEM!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY Deceitful communication about project timeline. Getting ghosted when calling asked for updates. Wrote a one-star Google review and all of a sudden had a manager on the phone saying all the right things. I asked for it all in writing and it hasn?t shown up in my inbox yet. Asked me multiple times to take down my bad review. Beware of this company. Going to do everything I can to get my money back and file a complaint with WA L&I.

This place is a scam. They will steal your money and they do not show up or communicate. Stay away and hire a different contractor. They are deleting bad reviews on google.

DO NOT Hire this contractor. Their workmanship is awful. They were hired in February of 2025 to complete a job in May of 2025 that wasn't actually completed until October of 2025. It leaks water, it had to be rebuilt not once but twice due to the installation of an incorrect glulam and the footings being poured in the wrong place. The communication between this company and it's customers is awful, they don't return calls, e-mails, or texts. Only when they want money, then you can't get rid of them, they will even threaten you. I ended up having to fix the water leaks myself because their warranty isn't worth the paper its written on. Bottom line. Find another contractor, this one is a scam artist.

Do not use CRIMINAL KINGS! The construction con-artists Zak, Frank, Blake, Mary, Arielle, David, Mike, and their crew work as an organized crime ring to steal as much money from you before abandoning the project. My project was for a second story deck with gabled attached roof original estimate of $49K. They took $33K before trying to walk away. This was supposed to be completed within 2 weeks of the start date, and Frank tells us city of Tacoma does not require a permit. Attached dwellings and anything over 30 inches need a permit I later find out. They will not provide site plans. They will try to extort you for additional costs and fees. They will not be on site every day. They hire subcontractors (craigslist crew of misfits). They will do the work incorrectly. They will abandon the project. They will leave all their trash. I have been dealing with them for 9 months now and I have an incomplete and incorrect installation they refuse to fix. They have several L&I electrical citatio

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! I cannot give enough warning to stay away from Construction Kings. We hired them in March, with a 50% down deposit, to build a deck for an agreed upon start date that last week of July. Then no communication. Our attempts at communication went ignored. Filed a complaint with the Attorney General. October 9th they finally begin demolition. Then ghosted again for another 18 days. Between the start of demolition through November 13, the crew only showed up 7 of the 25 weekdays that had passed. The frame for the roof of the deck was clearly done incorrectly and is currently resting on a block of wood. We did not know permits were required. Construction Kings had began work without obtaining permits or notifying us that they were required. Our backyard looks like a dump. Check their BBB rating = F. Check their L&I citations. You can find an active pending lawsuit against them. Check current Google and Yelp reviews -- many of the exact same horror stories.

unfortunately, I put a deposit down on Feb 1st, 2025 - was told 5-6 month lead time - we are now on month 10, and no construction has started yet. Communications have stopped - beyond frustrated

We hired CK on 2/16/25. Paid a deposit of $54,984.55. After 3 months of waiting around, I finally contacted the Owner, Zak. He said they would start construction 5 months after we signed the contract. I was the one who had to initiate contact every time. I called countless times over the course of almost 7 months for updates. On 9/27 they still had not done any work, I asked for my money back and miraculously, Zak gave a start of 9/30. At that point we paid another $31,458. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, we were GHOSTED. Every call and text to Zak and Mike were ignored. The roofer they were subbing out told us that he could not get the project manager, Mike to respond to his calls about ordering the roofing materials. The bid showed the roofing and labor to be $51,800. Despite having almost $87k of our money, they still wouldn't order the roofing!!! THESE GUYS ARE CRIMINALS. Where is our money??!!!

Project started: March 2024 Paid upfront: 50% ($18,000) Deadline requested: July 2025 I entered into a contract with this company after being reassured that they ?never stop a project once it starts? and that my project would be completed by July 2025 for a major family event. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. Since paying 50% of the project cost in March 2024, the only work completed has been obtaining permits and demolishing my deck and carport in August 2025?leaving behind debris that still has not been cleaned up. Since then, I have repeatedly attempted to contact Zakary Nash and the project manager, Mike, for updates. My last successful communication was on September 10, 2025. I have called, texted, and requested status updates many times, but neither has responded or returned my calls. STAY AWAY. I started the sales process for a new carport project with Construction Kings on 9/11/23, in the amount of $54,408.53. I paid a deposit of $16,932.99 so that they could "order the materials". The company told me I didn't need a permit, which seemed off to me since the carport was connecting to my roof / house, so I contacted King County and was told it DID need a permit. After going back and forth for months trying to get the permit process completed I asked for a refund or for them to change the project to a non-permanent carport in a gravel lot adjacent to the original work (no permit required). Construction Kings agreed on changing the project, but after making several promises to start, and even sending a guy out to measure and telling me materials would be dropped off it just never happened. After being ghosted AGAIN for several months I finally requested a refund, which Zak Nash, the owner, agreed on. That was almost two months ago -no refund.

They did my neighbors house and they were fast and friendly! Strongly recommend!

I was kept up to date on every phase of project. Crew was exceptional and friendly, very satisfied with completed work which was completed on time. I highly recommend Construction Kings.

I love my new deck. The construction is amazing. The guys constructing the deck were very professional and cleaned up each evening before leaving. They were also very nice. I would definitely recommend.

From our first meeting with the owner of the company Zach, he treated us with respect, knowledge and honesty. He gave us a fair bid, had his workers at our home when promised, and did an exceptional job. Our home turned out better than we could have hoped for like it was their own home they were working on. Every time there was an issue or a spot that needed a special touch they went above and beyond what was expected. Yes I would recommend this business. We had siding, faucets, and trim around our new windows installed.

The customer service was excellent from the beginning of the project to the finished product. Daniel and John did quality work and finished on a timely manner I would hire them again without any questions. This company absolutely gets 5 star itâ  s hard to find this kind of quality Iâ  ll recommend them anytime ! Thank you very much for the great experience !!
