Fabric Awning or Patio Cover Installation and Replacement
Project was not completed, awning parts were supposedly missing; I found them in the garage near the awning box.

Prompt attention to the problem for the leak around the chimney. They replaced the flashing, sealed the area around the chimney and installed a cap on the chimney. Consumer Construction had replaced the roof in 1994 and this was the first time that I had to call for a repair since then. Couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service, and prompt response and quick repair. Thank you.

The contractors destroyed my landscaping. Other "features" were added to the job without communicating with me ahead of time.

"We are surprised at the Homeowner's/Client's review and are sorry for his disappointment. We addressed the "destroyed landscaping", i.e. dirt on his white stone from our working in the area (of mud from heavy rains) by replacing it with new white stone, and the client expressed satisfaction with such. Regarding "Other features", we explained to the client the codes requirements of an extra rail on his deck, and he again, expressed understanding and satisfaction with the added feature/requirement. When our clients apprise us of any dissatisfaction or questions they may have during a project, we have the best opportunity to rectify any dissatisfaction, answer any questions and accomplish our goals of excellence."

In an age of competitive bidding, customer service can be the difference between a good job and an outstanding one. Consumer Construction (Mark M. - sales manager) is one of a kind. From price negotiation to job specks to showing up on site every day to make sure the crew had what it needed to keep the job on time and task, he was there. He even returned my calls while out on vacation. You could not ask for better service and customer resposiveness. I wish all companies had their attention to customer!

They did a wonderful job on everything except the back door. They finally corrected it, but it took almost a month to finish the project.
