They made the process so easy, they are very quick to respond, even on weekends...

Daniel came out to my home and gave me an estimate to repair my exterior door. He said that he would have his guys come out by the end of the week. I didn't hear from him and when I called him he apologized and said he would be out that week. This happen 3 TIMES. He never came out. Very disappointing. Update: Daniel called and fixed my door. He did a great job and apologized for the delay.

Daniel and his crew are awesome. Neat, clean, reliable, professional,and personable. This is the best experience I have ever had with contractors in my home. I am very pleased with their work and love my new baseboards and crown - my home now looks finished. Daniel even offered to have a cleaning crew come in to clean my home.

I saw a beautiful double entry door in Home Depot beginning of September. I had a professional Home Depot installer come out and measure and he told me the door would fit with a slight modification. I I went back to Home Depot to place the order and was now told the door wouldn't fit and HD contractors don't do "modifications" to make it fit. At this point it had turned into a "project". This "project" took six hours at Home Depot including 4 trips to Home Depot and waiting for the measurement to be taken at home and this without getting the door. i was very frustrated with the lack of customer service. I then looked on Home Advisor and found Cook's Carpentry. I called them and talked to John who emailed me a catalog of doors and I found the door I wanted (again). I was told it would take about 5-10 days for ordering the door and installation. (Home Depot would have taken 8 weeks) John informed me later that the door I wanted had been discontinued, but could be special ordered, it would just take a little longer. The other day I got the door installed. Daniel did a great installation job, and Dave did an excellent paint job. The installed door looks like a piece of art and I love it. I was glad I insisted on getting the door I liked. Installing and painting the door created a fine layer of dust all over the living room, and guess what, Daniel had a cleanng crew come in (paid by Daniel) and clean up the living room. How is that for customer service! I highly recommed Cook's Carpentry. Communication and follow up was great with John and Daniel from the day I placed the order to it was installed.

Home Advisor service provided me an opportunity to choose between a number of potential companies without having to do the usual amount of 'leg work' to find a competent worker. Mr. Dan Cook maintained a very affable disposition along w/ providing me great service... He advised me on what product I might consider, gave me a quote, gave me a day when he could do the work and how long it would take... He followed through on all expectations.

The customer service I received from Cook's was outstanding. I had two doors installed on the side of my house. There was a miscommunication as to who would caulk, fill nail holes and paint the installed doors. I spoke to Daniel (the owner) about it and he came out and filled and caulked the door trim. He sent his painter to paint the doors and trim the next day. Excellent service!
