Cool Pools

This company installed an electric pool heat heater but had issues with the circuit breakers tripping shortly after they left. They came back to find out it was drawing more current than the circuit could handle so they installed 2 bigger amp circuit breakers and only had 12 gauge wire routed to feed the pool pump and heater from the main which should have been at least 6 gauge wire to safety carry close to 55 amps total. YES, it does work but incorrectly. They should have inspected the circuit before they quoted me and installed it to see if it could safely handle the load. The company said they would take care of me and make it right but then later came back and said sorry but we arent gonna do anything for you because the wire feeding the unit was my responsibility even though they knowingly knew that. They would not give me a discount or anything to cover the upgraded wire or try to make it right. This company does not have licensed electricians to do these installs so if your house burns down because the under-gauged wire burns up guess its on you. Mainly pissed because this should have been inspected before I agreed to install and they told me they would take care of it and gave me the shaft after leaving. I now have to properly wire it because they did not. Remember you are the homeowner this should be worry-free you would think.

the service started out very Rocky and I have to say that they did put a lot of effort in and work through the kinks and have continued to service the pool. it's an older pool so it requires a little more attention and working with the company has it been too bad considering that it's a high maintenance pool.
