They replaced an HVAC coil that was under warranty meaning I was only paying for labor. Sounded great untilâ ¦the installer made a mistake on installation which caused water to back up into the inlet duct and cause water damage to my garage ceiling. I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card company to get my money back after two months of visits and no solutions. I have two pages worth of details with admitted installation mistakes, 12 visits over 3 months, a painter simply painted over the water damage, and my HVAC system still is not working properly. However, Iâ m still expected to pay because I wonâ t let them come out a 13th time as they are completely guessing at what the issue is each time and Iâ m not willing to waste any more of my time on this company. Interestingly, the second line of their terms and conditions reads, â Your business is appreciated and we will do everything in our power to see that you are 100% satisfiedâ ¦or you donâ t pay!â When I mentioned this to the supervisor he said, â Well it isnâ t that simple.â The terms and conditions also guarantee other things about their experienced and trained people that all cost money to deliver â superior service.â This is to lure you into feeling confident about handing them your money. Hereâ s my experience: 1. Superior service doesnâ t install things incorrectly three times. 2. Superior service doesnâ t schedule the maintenance technicians when an installation tech is needed. 3. Superior service doesnâ t send a painter to fix drywall water damage. 4. Superior service doesnâ t brag about being â cool today, not cool tomorrowâ and then take 12 visits over 3 months and still not fix the problem. But oh, the issue is me â the homeowner for not letting them keep coming. 5. Superior service doesnâ t charge labor when that labor installs something incorrectly multiple times, causes damage to a structure, and never finishes the job in a timely manner. 6. Superior service should offer an apology and make amends for the stress and challenges of a poorly performed and unfinished job. But hey, this is just my experience. Itâ s just an outstanding $3,000.00 bill for an incomplete job because Iâ m unreasonable for thinking I was hiring a qualified company that was honest about their business practices.

Consumer beware. Do not contract with his company. This is not the Cool Today from years ago. The trust I had with this company has eroded. Having used Cool Today years ago when it was truly the company solely owned by Jaime DiDomenico (information can be confirmed online, search who owns Cool Today) it was a customer valued company. Currently it was bought out and new owners and managers do not have the same philosophy. Having contracted with them for a current plumbing issue, under this new management and ownership, it is completely the opposite. They have destroyed my property and have abandoned a contact and left me having to go someplace else. I would like to have resolution and I have reached out to them by various forms, phone call, email and certified mail and they do not respond. It is my opinion they do not live up to the super service award they market themselves as earning. I think the criteria that allowed them to earn the award was from previous ownership.

Paid $7800.00 for an AC installation. System was installed on the wrong circuit breaker, the handler was not attached properly, I was given a faulty thermostat, ducts were not sealed properly and they did not use glue to install the pipes which resulted in flooding my home. 5 weeks later, and countless hours of lost wages, my ceiling is still in disrepair and now my calls are not being returned. I financed this project and I am still on the hook for that $7800.00 and the hits just keep on coming! Absolute nightmare!

This company is top notch! My AC went out around 4:30pm on Wednesday and I completed the form online to schedule an appointment for someone to come fix it. The appointment schedule showed two days from the date of the problem but someone contacted me within 30 minutes of the message and said they could have someone out that evening. Donald Davis came out to assess the issue. We learned that our unit was over 13 years old with a wall built around it so we are dealing with a sensitive unit with many potential other issues. The circuit kept bowing the transformer so after troubleshooting various potential solutions, we determined the next step would be to replace the control board and go from there. They would have to order the part and he would let us know when it came in. This is now around 9pm the same evening. He told us that labor and parts might be around $800. I asked how fast it would take to replace the AC altogether since it is so old and I would hate to replace the board to have it be another issue or have to replace it anyways. He said that they have them in the warehouse and could probably have it installed sooner than the part. We agreed that he would call in the morning and give us more details on timeframes. Donald called at 8am the next morning saying they could get the part by the evening or send the AC salesman to discuss replacement options. I asked for him to bring out the salesman since we will need to pull this trigger sooner than later and they have a finance plan so I would not have to pay it until later. The salesman, Rick Kinsella, was scheduled to come out to the house within an hour from that call with Donald. Rick came out and assessed exactly what would fit our needs and proposed about five different AC unit options. We decided on the Basic model since that is equivalent to what we already had. Rick, nor Donald, were pushy and very nicely asked what I would like instead of telling me what I should like, which I'm sure many other companies tend to do, such as Mr. S..... But anyways, these guys were great and very pleasant while working with me to fit my needs and finances. I have also been having issues with one of the bedrooms not getting enough air so it's always hot in there. I thought it was the window but come to find out the duct was too small so the air was passing it by. Rick had that thrown in with the AC unit at no additional cost. Let me tell you, that room is the coldest in the house now...it is wonderful! Rick was able to move around an appointment and get the installation scheduled for the next morning (Friday). Our installer, Brandon Patrick arrived by 8:25am and started assessing the situation and unloading the new unit and accessories. Apparently, the previous owner built a wall in front of the handler making it a code violation and an AC techs nightmare since it was facing inside the wall and impossible to replace the blower or any other decent sized parts. But, after assessing the possible solutions, Brandon Patrick and his assistant had the duct replaced, the unit and handler installed perfectly, and the wall remained in tact which I was kind of surprised that we didn't have to tear it down. These guys were amazing and truly skilled at their jobs! We just recently moved here so this was our first experience with a local AC company and I am happy to say that we found our AC company and do not need to look any further for future repairs. Thank you CoolToday and employees for being awesome and getting our unit assessed and installed as quick as humanly possible!

Poor. They offered me a referral fee for sending them a customer but refused to follow up and actually pay the fee. They just ignore me and promise theyll send it out but never do. They are not trustworthy, stay away from Cool Today.
