About us
Cor-O-Van Moving And Storage company was established in 1947 in Coronado, CA. In 1955 it became a North American Van Lines Agent. Dick Schmitz bought the company in 1974 and sons Bob and Bud Schmitz joined 8 years later. Cor-O-Van has grown from one 40,000 square foot warehouse in San Diego and approximately 40 employees to almost 800,000 square feet of warehouse space and a work force of over 600 people. The offices of Cor-O-Van are located in the cities of San Diego, San Francisco, Pleasanton, Point Richmond, San Jose and Fullerton, California. Cor-O-Van is currently the second largest moving and storage company within the State of California. It is one of North American Van Lines ten largest agents and is recognized both within and outside the industry as a company of integrity and credibility, both for our customers and our employees.
