Cormier Plumbing and Heating

I used this company approximately 4 years ago. I am prompted to write this review now due to a current community request for a plumber. Very poor service. Left in the middle of the job ?to pick up a part.? He returned 1.5 hours later (said he?d be gone just a few minutes). He fixed my faucet, which took him about 10 minutes. Very OVERPRICED (which has been confirmed by other plumbers since then). Did not provide an itemized bill despite asking for one in person. Several follow up calls to Cormier requesting an itemized bill were NOT returned. I never got a bill (my check was cashed immediately). I will never forget being ripped off by CORMIER PLUMBING and HEATING and will never stop getting the word out so others know to avoid CORMIER PLUMBING and HEATING at all costs!. I believe I got their name from Angie?s List (and provided my feedback to them after using Cormier). Cormier is not accredited by the BBB.

Do not use them. They will not give an itemized bill for parts and labor and will overcharge. I needed a new dishwasher installed. I was quoted around $400. By the time they left, it was over $1,200, and the dishwasher would not turn on. They had spent 3 hours trying to connect it to the breaker box and then gave up. They demanded payment and left. We had to hire an electrician to fix it, and it took him 15 minutes to undo their work and get power to the dishwasher for $75. Avoid them. Use someone else. Save yourself the time and money.

A horrible company which you should avoid at all costs, save your time and money. I never leave reviews but they are so unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsistent I had to warn others. They failed to complete a paid-for job and continually had excuses for why they could not come back. I ended up having to hire another company to get it fixed.

When I first called- I actually spoke with the owner. Very knowledgeable-Very happy to help. He quoted me roughly 150 for just a valve steam change in the shower or approx 300 for a whole new shower handle package. I made the appointment because the pricing seemed fair. Then, it was just downhill from there. The owner wife whose schedules did not pay attention to my directions when I spoke to her-maybe the TV show was more important. Then the poor brother, Mark who came never got the directions-was almost an hour late because she did not pay attention! It was just a mess! Finally, after the third appointment-my shower handle was replaced at the tune of $650. I called and asked for an explanation of the increased charges and to this day have never heard back from Denise or Mark. I never write reviews and I also support small mom and pop shops but this is a clear bait and switch!!!!! Great work-but overpriced.

When you call Cormier Plumbing you speak with a actual, friendly person, not a recording. Scheduling was easy. Dave showed up right on time. He is extremely knowledgeable and made the repair very quickly and all the site was cleaned before he left.

I was pleased with the service I received. Being older I can no longer accomplish small projects my self. I had what I would consider a small project. I needed a kitchen faucet installed. I bought a faucet then started to look for someone to install it. I was surprised at the cost. Really surprised. Some of the more advertised companies wanted 50 to 100 dollars just to come out to quote me a price. Big box stores wanted over 300 dollars. That's 300 dollars an hour. On my best day I earned 80 dollars an hour. Now that I'm on a smaller fixed income I needed an alternative. So I gave home advisor a try. They suggested Cormier Plumbing. Cormier contacted me promptly and quoted me a price I could work with. They were able to come out the next day. They showed up when they said they would and got right to work. The guys were great and popped the faucet right in. While checking their work they noticed some other minor problems that they were able to take care of. To their word the charged me what I was quoted even tho they went above and beyond. Thank you Cormier Plumbing I will definitely check with you first on any other Plumbing issues I have.

I was extremely pleased with Cormier Plumbing and Heating. They were punctual and very knowledgeable about the work they performed, removing and replacing faucets which involved cutting pipes. The cost was good and in line with area plumbers. I will be using them in the future and would definitely recommend them.

Need to get the faucet fixed but though $300 to replace a faucet that took a little over an hour was a little much.

Dave arrived early and went straight to fix my leaky toilet, then switched out my old back outdoor faucet basement shut off to a new more efficient one and then worked to replaced my old outdoor front faucet with a new one! Money well spent. Dave was friendly and focused. Plan to hire again for a few more plumbing projects!

I contacted the Cormiers about a leaky kitchen faucet after getting a quote from another plumber that I thought was too expensive. Dave quoted a much more reasonable price so I hired him to come a week later. He showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently installing a new faucet I had purchased at Home Depot and charged me exactly what he had quoted. I will definitely call Dave and Denise the next time I need a plumber.
