Cornejo Painting

I hired Alejandro to install siding on my house however he did not show up to do the job. When I called to tell him I hired someone else, six weeks after he was suppose to start, he was shocked.. Then I made the second mistake of hiring him to paint my new construction addition, which to this day he hasnâ t come back to finish. He always has an excuse why he has to cancel. Itâ s been months since he was last here and I suspect heâ ll never come back. There are many mistakes with his work as he has a revolving door of employees so you really never know what kind of work youâ ll get. Alejandro is a typical subcontractor, jumps from job to job neglecting the ones he doesnâ t want to deal with anymore. Lesson learned for me, it doesnâ t pay to be a nice guy when dealing with this level of worker. If you decide to use this Alejandro make sure you hold over 50% of the payment until the work is completely done, otherwise it may never get done. Alejandro Cornejo is very professional and accommodating. After looking at the extent of the job at our home (3BR, 3Full baths, 1 half bath, large living room eat in kitchen, dining room , office, laundry room,) he gave us an estimate of time and cost. He also suggested we meet with a color consultant which was very helpful. His estimates were both on target and his team did a very professional job. They took great care in moving and covering furniture, as well as cleaning up at the end of each day. Work was completed inside of 2 weeks. We could not be happier!

I cannot say enough good things about Alejandro and his crew. They are very professional and reliable, get the job done quickly and as planned and with the best quality. They did a great job painting several large rooms in our house, and in the past painted the exterior of our home and stained the porch ceilings. Alejandra was very friendly, professional and went above and beyond what was expected. We also added some extra work for him to complete and he was very happy to do whatever was ask at a very fair rate. He also installed a new bathroom countertop with underneath sinks, new mirrors and changed out the lighting in our master bathroom. The garden tub was replaced with a walk in shower. I have a new, beautiful bathroom now.. I would highly recommend him and will be using him in the future for all remodeling.

I have yet to meet Alejandro. I wanted all the dark wood in my condo painted white. I handled all of these arrangements remotely from Connecticut. He came highly recommended by my kitchen contractor who I thoroughly trust. Alejandro came in, reviewed what was needed and gave me a reasonable price. He complied with all of my time constraints Throughout my life I have engaged craftsmen of all sorts for my various home improvement projects. I was fortunate to be pleased with their results. I can say without reservation that Alejandro is by far the best contractor I have ever hired. Managing a project like this remotely is always a challenge. Not with Alejandro. He took charge and delivered a result that met or exceeded his standards. Believe me when I say his standards go way beyond my expectations. I told him I was bringing in a professional cleaner after all the work was completed. He said that was fine but when he leaves a work site the only way you know he was there was to notice the color change. He sent me pictures. The place looks good. Very good. Thank you Alejandro. I intend to recommend you to anyone who asks.

Alejandro Cornejo is more than a workman; he is a craftsman who takes great pride in what he does and how he does it. Five stars out of five for work ethic, quality of work, business practices, and value. A vent cover had been allowing rain to get beneath our roof shingles for some time. The plywood had rotted. During a heavy rain, a lot of water began dripping from our living ceiling. It also bubbled the paint on one wall. A large roofing and restoration company, after inspecting the roof and the interior damage, recommended Mr. Cornejo for the repairs. Other residents had praised Mr. Cornejo and his father for work they had done in Brunswick Forest after Hurricane Florence. Mr. Cornejo replaced the damaged section of the roofâ plywood, tarpaper, and shingles. He replaced the plastic vent cover with a better-designed metal one. In the attic, he replaced the insulation that had gotten wet and checked the sheetrock for mold (there was none). He then repaired the damage to our living room ceiling and wall. This required scraping, patching, sanding, and painting, at which the man is a master. The repairs are invisible, no matter how closely you look.

Alejandro and his crew were great! They did wonderful work, were efficient and super nice. Their prices are super competitive. I would absolutely hire Alejandro and his team again!

Alejandro and his crew did an exceptional job painting the interior of our home. They were very meticulous and prepped the area including replacing caulk, repairing all nail pops and doing needed drywall repairs. They were also very careful to protect our floors and furnishings and did a great job cleaning up. An all around great experience.

These guys were amazing, Alejandro was an incredibly thorough project manager and a nice guy. They were clearly proud of the work they do and didnâ t miss anything. They spent a lot of time prepping (sanding, scraping, patching and repairing or replacing rotten boards, trim, window sills etc) One of the selling features for us was the fact that they hand brush rather than spray the paint. As a craftsman myself I know for a fact that is a much better way to apply exterior paint. The new paint job is amazing. SO thick! They applied multiple layers and prime. The house looks brand new. I canâ t recommend these guys enough they are absolutely the best. They take pride in their work, restoring and working carefully the whole way through. Weâ ll definitely be calling them for future projects.

Fair prices and Professional Service!

Very professional and extremely polite. Very punctual and has the homeowner's needs as a priority. After completing the needed repair and painting, Alejandro and his crew cleaned the area very, very well. We plan on hiring again for the exterior of our rather large (over 4000 sq. ft.) home in the future.

We used Alejandro before for interior drywall and painting, and provided an outstanding review. Alejandro painted the ceilings, laundry room, kitchen, dining room, and living room. He performed an excellent job. He took a extra day to prepare the area and make repairs to drywall before painting. He is one of the most meticulous people I have ever met. Alejandro is an excellent craftsman. He replaced drywall and painted the entire interior of our beach house after Hurricane Florence. The work is outstanding. He is passionate about his work with great attention to detail. Being out of town, he kept us informed throughout the process. We are very pleased and rates are reasonable. We are so happy to have found Alejandro. He does incredible work. Pressure washed and painted our entire exterior last year and did a beautiful job! The house looks like new. Most recently he painted our bonus room which we are converting to a game room. The amount of time he spent prepping the walls, finding all the old nail holes, repairing damaged areas was something I have never had a painter do before. Not to this degree. Once the room was completed it looked brand new. Everything is so smooth and consistent. It turned out beautiful! He and his crew are a true pleasure to work with. He is very prompt and communicates well. He loves what he does and takes such pride in his work. He is a true artist. We will definitely call him again for our next project!
