Major Renovation Multiple Room Service
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! Completely unethical. DO NOT USE COSMO BUILDERS. You may lose your money.
I paid them $10,229 and ZERO work was done. ZERO. I still cannot believe someone could take that much money and think this is okay.
And the licensing situation? VERY SHADY. I contacted Cosmo Builders, but the contractor license they gave me was under Evershine Construction, Inc. If you think I am making this up, ask Cosmo Builders to show you the contractor license under the company you are actually hiring. Verify everything yourself before you give them a dollar.
I have reported this situation to Virginia DPOR, and I am taking the matter to court to get my money back.
I am angry, disappointed, and honestly shocked by this entire experience. I have had sleepless nights over this. Save yourself the stress and headache. I would NEVER recommend Cosmo Builders.
Read the reviews. Do your homework. Verify the company name and license yourself. And PLEASE be very careful before giving this compan

Kitchen - Remodel
We hired Cosmo Builders for a full kitchen and bath gut remodel, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. From day one, their communication was top-notch. They actually finished a week ahead of schedule and stayed right on budget which is unheard of these days! The attention to detail in the custom cabinetry and tile work is incredible. Highly recommend their crew for any major home project.

I found Cosmo and their team honest, committed, and on-time deck builder contractors in the area and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the result. From the very beginning, the team was professional and knowledgeable, offering expert pieces of advice on deck foundation, expansion, pulling permits process from the county, and the best different materials combinations and design options They worked with me every step of the way to ensure that the design was exactly what I wanted, and the materials used were of the highest quality from trex product and muzata cable railing product. The installation process was quick and efficient, with a focus on quality and attention to detail. We hired cosmo builders to build us a 2-car garage with leaving space above the garage. Since the area we live in only has street and ally parking. For safety measures and comfortability, once we had the budget, we had Mohib and the architect came over. They explained everything slowly and meticulously. They helped us from the beginning to finish. From drawings, pulling permit, scheduling the surveyor to draw property lines, making sure there was nothing underneath, and getting the job done. His guys were here on time as promised and worked very hard and finished our garage 1 weeks ahead of schedule. Iâ m so glad we made this moveâ ¦neighbors are looking into it as well!!

The entire team did a wonderful job replacing my basement staircase with. After plummeting down the basement steps, we felt they were not safe, searched the net and found Cosmo Builders. They came out and we discussed the dimensions of the treads we wanted and the next day I had my estimate. I feel it was very reasonable for oak steps. The whole crew was extremely friendly, professional, meticulous with their work and did a great cleanup job. They were response and kept me updates with any changes due to the weather. Overall, the whole process was 10/10!!!

I recently upgraded to multiple recessed lights and a sub panel installed in my house. We wanted something new and be able to control the lights to our liking, why we switched to smart. Best decision ever! I was able to get an estimate right away. The team was very professional and did a clean job while installing all 8 lights and panel in a single day. Showed me that the lights can be controlled with my phone. The work was top notch. I would highly recommend Cosmo Builders!

Cosmo builders completely transform one big office space into 3 private room spaces for more privacy. My team and I love what they have done. The process from drawings, pulling permits and the construction was smooth and perfectly done.We asked for some additional work be done in the middle of the remodel such as wall shelves for books and they worked with us to ensure it could all be completed on time.Our experience with this contractor was pleasant, and we continue to speak highly of them to everyone in the building. From the moment we contacted Cosmo Builders for a quote until the time the final inspection was approved by HOA and the County, the entire team at Cosmo was nothing but professional, responsive, and patient. Mohibhelped guide us through the design and material selection, we went with composite decking due to It being easier to clean and maintain without maintenance cost. Best investment made on the home on what turned out to be a beautiful deck just in time for summer. You guys are the best

Mohib and his crew did a fantastic job on our driveway, new walkway, and steps! My husband had very specific requests for the concrete mixture, underlayment, and finish since we have a steep driveway, and water kept getting into our garage. They went above and beyond what he wanted! Everything was done very professionally, and they did a great job cleaning up the work site! Also, they had the best quality work and price! We got a new vinyl fence installed by Cosmo Builders. Unfortunately, the old wood had to go. We walked outside one day to find our fence had been destroyed by our dog due to him keep trying to jump over. The number of times my dog has jumped over and got away, it was time to replace the fence. Mohib and his team were nothing but amazing. Not only was there install perfect, he made sure everything was how I wanted it (higher than the old fence), made sure all lines were not going to cause any damage to the property and cross the neighbors property line, The new fence definitely increases the value of my home. I had my carpet that was ruined but my sons dog replaced with laminate floor by Cosmo Builders. The project manager who is very helpful, competent, and knowledgeable about flooring products. He answered my questions. He even showed me the selection where vast designs of Laminate floor, also helped me match the flooring with whatâ s in the dining room, along with recommencing leveling the floor so I donâ t have to worry about it in the future. He visited my place to make sure my floor will be done on time. The crewwas reliable, punctual, and professional. They know what they're doing. They did an excellent job updating my flooring and I'm happy with the result. I would highly recommend them. Thank you again!!

Cosmo Builders and the team are the best I have worked with. We were looking for the complete package for our home remodeling project. A company that could provide drawings, pulling the permit and the construction work due to being on a budget and getting it completed by a certain time. We are VERY pleased with the way our house is looking. They listened to our vision and worked with us as we finalized decisions, I have had several sets of drawings that were submitted to Fairfax County approved the first review with no comments, a real testament to the quality of their drawings.Enhancing all of this is Mr. Mohibs easygoing, friendly, and approachable personality. It is clear he has patience for questions and attends to all concerns about project planning and implementation. Highly recommend!!

Basement Remodeling
We been house searching for a while now due to needing more space and it was just not happening. I decided to add an addition of garage and finishing our basement of the house, and I do not regret it. Cosmo Builders, and their engineer gave me some great ideas for the floor plan, pulling permit, Construction materials and finishing materials around our budget. Mohib and crew did an amazing job on our siding and new 2 new windows installation,They did everything that we asked of them and more. They were on time, neat and had great communication through the whole process. Obsessed with the new look and color selection we chose for the vinyl siding.

Our living room was getting a little too small for us, so we decided to go with Cosmo builders to add an addition and removal partition walls for us. after looking at the estimate. Mohib is very giving and from the looks of it he just wanted us to be comfortable and was willing to work us. It took a little longer than expected due to pulling permits but it was worth it. It turned out beautiful and cozy. My family uses the room more than the actual living room. Thank you cosmo for making it happen!

Basement Remodeling
Cosmo builders and their crew are professional. They just had remodeled our basement from unfinished to finished basement and added a bathroom, washer dryer, Living room and office space for me. From the beginning of design and permit process Mohib has been incredible to work with. He is honest, hardworking, accommodating of my (endless) requests, and a perfectionist! He took care of several issues we came across (due to the house) without adding any stress or additional cost. and what a surprise for us when we go in to check and it is a hundred times better than we could have ever had imagined. Initially, we had so many ideas for the basement, and it was hard for us to choose, so we let the construction company decide on some indecisive aspects that my wife and I had, and we could not have made a better choice. Will certainly use their services when we decide to refurbish another part of the house

Mohib and the guys at cosmo builders are amazing. They are so easy to work with and their work quality is impeccable. We have had them work on our house twice now. The first time we hired them to change hardwood flooring for our living room, the second project we hired cosmo for our master bathroom remodel and extension, because old bathroom was the worst part of the house for me. Not because I do not like its functionality, of course, but because it was just an old sad place that had been done more than 30 years ago. Now we have new fixtures, bigger space with new tub and new appliances and they even moved around some walls to gain extra space! Could not be happier!

We loved working with Cosmo builders on our new custom home construction The cosmo team and their sub were very professional, patient & helpful on every step of the process starting from first estimating, understanding of our budget needs, customization of the finishing materials, Fixtures choice based on our budget. also they were a great advisor for me during the process on the selection of materials, design, colors and electrical fixtures. moreover, they created a modern and customized beautiful bathrooms and kitchen that was just what we wanted. despite that, the crews were very polite, technical and passion for the quality work. with help of our contractor cosmo builders, we have unique house floor plan and a clean interior house design while the building process took little bit more time than normal! but it's okay because we end with satisfaction, We have been extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship. I definitely recommend cosmo to anyone who are looking for right contractor to redesign/build or manage residential project,and i hope to work gain with them soon on our third investment project in the future again.
