Tyler was very personable, professional, and patient. He exceeded my expectations. No matter how many times he had to go back and forth to grab the proper material for me when faced with an obstacle, he was very positive and happy to take care of it for me. Great family business to support!

They came back and finished the job and did a good job.
Response by Coulter Systems, LLC: We wanted to respond to confirm the nature of the complaint. The customers carpet had not been replaced as per the writing of this review. The work we performed is functioning properly and there are no needs for repairs. We have since replaced the carpet as agreed and the customer has also agreed to remove or adjust the review.

I hired Robert to waterproof the basement and do some work outside, I paid the $8400 and I can not seem to get them back to complete the work
Response by Coulter Systems, LLC: We wanted to respond to the nature of the complaint. The customer had indicated to us that a pipe had to be sealed and that the decorative stone was thin in some places and needed to be adjusted. The work we performed is functioning properly and there are no need for repairs. We have returned and completed the 2 aforementioned items and the customer has also agreed to remove or adjust the review.

At first, the company wanted to set an appointment. The job was mostly completed. Next 2 days, I noticed a problem that needed to be seen. I tried many times to get someone to come back so it could be problem solved. Mgr. Never came, so I had another company finish what this company did not do.
Response by Coulter Systems, LLC: We were contracted by Debbra to apply a waterproofing sealant paint to her basement walls. Upon our visit with Debbra, we did not find that the home had any issues with water infiltration, therefor we did not propose any work to stop water from entering the structure. The customer did not like the aesthetics of the basement and still wanted to have the basement painted in order to improve the overall look. We painted the areas of the basement to completion, as contracted, then were contacted afterwards for another appointment, as the customer still had concerns about the drying process. We attempted to set an appointment with her to come look at the job but the customer would not give us a firm appointment time. Instead she said multiple times, "just come take a look at it". We continued to attempt to set an appointment with her, to no avail, and now apparently has hired another company to perform work on our product that we did not even get a chance to come inspect. The work we performed was not sub standard, improperly performed, or coerced upon the customer. We even gave the customer tips on how to induce the drying process such as adding more heat to the basement or having a dehumidifier present to control the conditions of the basement in the meantime before our next visit. The customer's complaint is unfounded, and is not due to a lack of effort or professionalism on our part.

Work crew were polite, neat and professional. After the work was completed I did have water seepage after a very heavy rain but the owner personally came to make adjustments. I am hoping the problem is now solved but in any event I feel confident they will resolve the problem without delay. If you want to get treated like family, this is the company you should select.

I did hire this company April 2018. To date and many documented emails and phone calls later, I am still fighting for a concrete and final resolution, as Rob Coulter promised me. However, he keeps delaying and stalling. Next step is to get the Attorney General involved.
Response by Coulter Systems, LLC: We were contracted by Mrs. Brockington to install drainage systems at her home. The process involved 16 of internal drainage system, 60 of external drainage system, all tied into a gravity flow disposal line to disperse the collected water. Mrs. Brockingtons first contact to our company after the initial work was finished was to complain about some imperfections with the pavers that we had to take up and replace to install the work properly. We returned multiple times to ensure that this problem had a proper remedy, despite difficulty syncing up a time, that would be suitable to the customer. Next, there was a complaint about the water entering at the area where our work was performed. Per our guarantee, we are obligated to return to offer a proper remedy if our system has allowed water to continue to enter. This is a common practice for our company, and we even warn customers that there may be tweaks needed after the fact due to the problematic nature of ground water and its propensity to find a new way into the structure. We continued to return to offer our remedy and were met with some resistance about the process. However, it did not deter us from continuing to work at the property. After offering several fixes, all at no additional expense to the customer, Mrs. Brockington complained about water entering the garage, which was not originally part of the contracted work. With the amount of issues the customer had stated to us thus far, along with, again, the propensity for water to find a new way to enter, we were eager to accommodate in order to leave our customer properly satisfied with the work. We decided, in good faith, to apply additional drainage work with a sump pump into the customers garage. This was work with a market value of about $3,000.00 that cost us $1,200.00 to install and was performed at no additional charge to Mrs. Brockington. It was just days after completing this work for Mrs. Brockington that she filed a formal complaint with Home Advisor. This blindsided us, because we believed that we had given her more than what was promised in the contract in order to offer a proper remedy and solve her water infiltration issues. Regardless, we followed protocol and did not disconnect our communication with the customer. At this point, we feel that we have offered a sufficient remedy to the customer and that her complaints are over reaching the guarantee. That being said, we will honor our contract if the work that we performed continues at any point to allow water to enter or collect. We are not willing to refund the customer any money, as we have not breached our agreement and felt that we have gone over and above what has been necessary to fix these issues

Great company to work with! We had a French drain and sump pump installed. One day for the work, which was great! My only issue is communication after install. We had some water about a week after install because of a ton of rain this summer. We were told that this was normal. Said they would follow up the following week, they never did. When I reached out, left a message and asked for them to send me a receipt for the work performed, I never heard back from them. We do have a dry basement!!!!

UPDATE 4/1/2019: Coulter Systems have remedied the problem. There was a hidden window behind paneling that was the culprit. UPDATE 1/9/2019: It turns out our communication got crossed over the holidays and that is why there was a delay in Coulter Systems response to our calls. Upon becoming aware of our problem, Mr. Coulter came and investigated the issue and, unbeknownst to all of us, he discovered a leaking window. He is gracious enough to offer to fix this at no expense even though, if he had known about it, he would have had to charge us $500. I have raised ratings to 3 stars and fully intend to update this review and give a perfect rating once this issues is fixed and put to bed. 1/7/2019: If you get enjoyment throwing cash out of the window or flushing it down the toilet, I would recommend doing that rather than hiring Coulter Systems for your waterproofing needs. At least you will get to see the money fly away in the breeze or swirl down the drain. Or you could choose to hire Coulter Systems. Either way, do not expect to have your water problem solved. Our basement was leaking whenever it rained. So we called Mr. Coulter, and he came and investigated the leakage. He told us where he thought the water was entering the basement and gave us a proposal for $5,150 to fix it. On Nov 17th, they did the job. Seven days later, on November 24th, it rained and the basement leaked profusely. After dozens of emails, texts, and voicemails, no one from Coulter Systems has come to address the problem. When Mr. Coulter came to pick up the check, he said something that was confusing but, in retrospect, telling. He said, do not worry if the basement continues to leak, it will be easy to fix. Just mark where the water is coming in and call us. I said to myself, wait, they are the experts. Are not they the ones that find out where the leak is? Did they just do five thousand dollars of work without knowing where the water was coming from? At any rate, we have called and called and called and still, no one has come to address the problem. I suppose my only alternative now is to spend thousands more to get the job done right.
Response by Coulter Systems, LLC: All complaints by the customer have been handled to the customers satisfaction and he has agreed to remove or adjust the rating.
