Raymond & his crew built a beautiful stone patio in my backyard. Raymond was very responsive. They showed up when they said they would and finished the project very promptly. When I was initially unhappy with the layout and size of the patio, Raymond addressed it immediately and made sure it was done to my satisfaction. The finished product is beautiful, and several of my neighbors have commented on how great it looks. Raymond also did extensive re-grading of my backyard. The job did come in over-budget, but the extra cost is definitely worth it. I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

First, the surface of the patio is not level. There are 3 distinct low spots. The patio is bordered by the house in the north and a screen porch in the west. The N to S pitch (away from the house) is fine. However, the horizontal pitch is from E to W, toward the porch and both stairways. Since completion, 3 contractors have provided independent evaluations, yet all came to the same conclusions noted above. There is no evidence of cement sand in the paver joints approximately 4 feet from the porch for the entire length of the porch (16 feet-plus). There are 2 accent walls that have garden beds within them; 1 in front of the porch bordered by lawn and 1 within the patio. Ray placed no cement sand in the joints between the patio pavers and the accent wall. Ray did not put landscaping fabric in the garden beds nor did he install vinyl flashing against the lattice although both were specified in his proposal. The proposal also included a provision for loam to fill the garden beds. I was charged for the loam and it was only placed in one bed. When I asked Ray about leaving behind a few spare pavers for future repairs, he ranted about homeowners and how they arrogantly think that the materials provisioned for their jobs belong to them. He reluctantly agreed to leave me 5 of each size: a total of 10 pavers. No spare pavers were left onsite even though 2 pallets of pavers were removed from my property and returned to the supplier for credit - to his account! The finishing touch for the walls is the capstones. Ray ordered the wrong capstones although I provided to-scale drawings clearly showing the serpentine design. He fired his wall guy a day before the re-ordered capstones arrived and assigned the important task to another worker with zero experience - telling the worker how easy it was and how quickly he would catch on. Ray treated his crew like 2nd-class citizens and expected me to do the same. When I offered the workers a cup of coffee Ray said, Not for them - no coffee. But you can bring one for me. He did allow me to offer them water during the hot summer days. Yet he would come to the front door and ask me for Ginger Ale, then tell me to be sure the crew didnt see when I brought him one - more than once. Saturday morning his crew arrived unexpectedly. Ray did not come with them. I served them breakfast that day. Finally, Ray took no care and showed no respect for my property. He tore up the front yard, the side yard and much of the backyard where the patio is located. We brought in 15 yards of loam and it still did not fix all the damage. He left trash by my fire pit, filled 2 of my large plastic trash barrels (putting non-recyclable items in 1 that was clearly marked Recycle) and left loose trash around the barrels. I waited 6 weeks to write this review. I wanted to allow myself enough distance from the experience to review Country Squire Development, Inc. as objectively as possible. My patio came out so nice, Raymond kept with the style of my old established yard which is what I really wanted! Also the front of my house walkway and front stairs I love the way it came out. Raymond and the group of guys that worked here were all so nice-polite and easy to talk to- I'm happy with my choice and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks so much Country Squire!!!

Raymond and his crew are professional and do what they say they'll do. Raymond listened to my needs for a sidewalk re-build, came up with a solution and put it all together. With prompt response and thorough follow through, we are very happy with the result and without hesitation will go to Country Squire in the future for any such needs.

The team built a beautiful stone retaining wall in front of my house; results exceeded my expectations. Very professional, hard workers, responsive to my ideas. I have had many compliments on this project, I highly recommend this company.

Although I had to wait a few weeks it was worth it. They are busy with other jobs so you know they are great. My yard looks fabulous. Everyone was kind and professional. I would hire them again.

My patio is gorgeous. Derek and his team were very professional. I got a response within minutes of contacting them through Home Advisor and Derek came out that same day to help me plan my project. And within a few days my patio was planned, excavated and finished. Extreme attention to every detail. They made sure I was happy with the job at each step. Always happy to answer any and all questions I had. They kept my yard neat and clean during the project. They were professional, easy to talk to, and a pleasure to have around! I will definitely be calling them for my future projects. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!
