CC is very difficult to deal with but Simon and his assistant Jordan are excellent. They are problem solvers who care about their work. They installed three splits and a compressor in a couple of days. Inheriting a vague spec by lesser members of the County Comfort team, they figured out how to make it work. They really listen to the client. Demolition of the old heating system is yet to come so I will follow up with a comprehensive review of the entire job then. If you work with CC request them.

System broke down after only 3 months and the service follow up has been terrible. Still waiting for repair after 4 weeks. 24/7 service claim is a lie. All you get on the phone is a phone service who passes on your message to a black hole. No response from the service manager. Once they have your money, they don?t care. Don?t use. Big mistake.

For 3 weeks I called everyday the following number (914) 354-3692 and left messages with Anthony and Alvin trying to get County Comfort to begin installation (Having paid upfront). Every time they had to reach out to the manager to schedule but never called me back. On 12/1/2026 I found a number for Julio Ramos and was able to get scheduled. On Dec 8 HVAC installation begin. Installation took one week, minor complaints. Installation is not complete as of yet however, the bathroom still requires a vent and subsequent HVAC. On December 18, 2025 during a walkthrough of the property I, the homeowner, noticed that some of the copper water lines underneath the HVAC system for the home were cut. Upon further inspection it was noted that all the copper water distribution lines were cut as well as the main water supply line for the entire home inside the basement. It was also noted that the irrigation water supply line was cut, as well the electrical monitoring system for the irrigation

Absolutely a nightmare to work with this company. They installed a tankless Navien gas system to replace an old oil fired furnace. The installation was incorrect and had to be repaired by a local plumber-- not by the County Comfort "technicians". They did not know how to remedy the situation. There were numerous times the company came to my home to get it working correctly. Never was on time with the service calls--never called to say they would be delayed in getting here. During the winter we spend many nights without heat since the system kept on malfunctioning. The system now intermittently shuts down and I can't get them to show up here. Please do not make a mistake and use this company. You will regret it. If you look at the positive reviews you will see that they are years old----

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Arrogant bunch of liars after estimate was given very vague and they keep changing the price. The salesman lied through his teeth Julio full of himself not a guy u can trust. They were supposed to install 2 mini splits compressor with new line sets. When they showed up they never came with the line sets they tried to tell me they always leave the old line sets into reuse I said no. The 2 guys they send come with a truck with a cracked and smashed windshield and they look like 2 day laborers no English wow. Called Julio got into a big shouting match over the phone he hung up on me. Called Spencer another guy told him what was going on he said I would not be charged for the line set on 7/26 . Called him on 7/28 he told me he was coming by at 12:30 did not show till 1pm. He tells me I have bad news for you they want to charge me an extra 800 plus for it I tell him no way cancel the job give me my money back. Sneaky company bad do not use!!

I just got 2 heat pumps installed. And if Simon and Miguel hadn’t helped the way they did, I would have been desperate. The two of them did a great job and tried their best to maneuver around the company’s mismanagement. Both were the only ones who reliably communicated with me and responded right away and found solutions when the company should have planned properly. They lost a lot of time because of the poor management. Both were polite and respectful, quite the opposite from some admin people in the company who simply hung up on me. They earn 5 stars, the company 1. Unfortunately, I can’t make the distinction here.

Hired County Comfort to insulate my roof. Seemed professional at first, but then ran their blower (which emits carbon monoxide) inside my garage?gas leaked into the house while my infant son and I were napping. Only reason we?re alive is my CO detector. After I confronted them, they moved the machine outside (where it should?ve been from the start). I kept the windows open all day in freezing temps to be safe. Then they broke my outdoor spigot while leaving, flooding the area?cost me $400 to fix. They promised a $1,000 refund plus $400 reimbursement. That was 6 months ago. Despite multiple polite follow-ups (calls, emails, texts), they?ve ghosted me. So if you're okay risking your life and home and being ignored afterward, County Comfort is your company. They do great work, really (not)...

We are so glad we went with County Comfort to help us update our attic insulation and air seal our crawlspace! It was great having Jay coordinate with us - he was swiftly responsive and provided clarity whenever we had questions about the process of making our home more energy efficient. He even went above and beyond in helping us make the most of our energy rebates after their work was complete. The team - Fausto, Jonathan, William and Juan - were the nicest group of guys, and they left barely a trace whenever they finished work for the day. We noticed a difference in the air/temperature in our home almost immediately, and we look forward to saving on our future energy bills too - We would happily trust them with our home going forward!

We scheduled the appointment. she said the tech would call when he would arrive and he did!. Very happy with the service. I will hire them again if I need to proceed with a replacement.

I had a 24 year old central ac system replaced. Joe, his son, and the rest of his team were a pleasure to work with. They worked hard and kept my house clean while installing during the rain. As the work was performed at end of summer, cannot comment on any system performance.
