When there is water leaking through your ceiling, every minute counts. County Wide sent one of their expert technicians who carefully and methodically searched for and finally found the broken pipe. He did the necessary repairs and even cleaned up the mess. I love this company and recommend them without hesitation.

The installers explained everything they were doing as they did it. When they left you would not have known they were here. That's how neat they were. Kudos to them for sure. I also want to send out a message to Jeremiah who came out and explained the quote to me. His service was exceptional.

They did not disclose the fees when I called. The bill is not even broken down as to what you are paying for. We were charged $495.00 for what they state as HVAC regular hours diagnostic fee 1.00, a sold hour 1.0, and a service task of 1.00. The tech was here for 45 min. No parts were replaced only an ohm reading was reduced on the boiler. I will not be using this company again. Be sure to ask them about their diagnostic fees which are a flat $250.00 whether they are there 15 minutes or 5 hrs.

It was an emergency but it could have been a disaster. Boiler failure in the middle of winter! However, thanks to the pros at Country Wide Mechanical Services there was a happy ending. We want to thank Tyler (last name?) and Tommy Edwards who responded to our need. They were professional, knowledgeable and explained everything to us. And they solved our problem! These are people you can trust. I highly recommend them and their company Country Wide Mechanical Services and they have our business from now on. Michele in the office was great as well. Thanks so much. Walt & Kathy, Hamden, CT

I was impressed with Isaiah Tiezzi's knowledge and diagnostic ability to get to the heart of my furnace problem. It was like he had the answers before I could ask the questions. I have confidence that all the issues we had discussed will be addressed and successfully completed. Will be glad to see the work get started.

Leak at an elderly relatives home. Did not know any plumbers in the area so this firm was referred through Home Advisor. Office Call back within a minute! Service tech Zak arrived within an hour. New washing machine valve obtained and installed in an hour. Thorough testing and evaluation. No pressure and strait forward advice. Can't ask for better service.

Central A/C - Install
We had a whole house fire, and researched for a good company to install and convert our system. We interviewed with 3 companies, and Jimmy from Countywide presented the most professional and comprehensive product. Not the least expensive, or the most, but the best as far as we were concerned. However, it became apparent that he was about the only one in the company that had the knowledge to CORRECTLY do every aspect of the install. We have experienced many problems, including the wiring on the air conditioning apparatus in the attic(which left us without air conditioning on Memorial Day 2016. Countywide refused to come and fix this problem, and temps soared into the 90s that weekend), backward installation of the gauge on the oil tank, and installation of the WRONG size air filters for the air conditioner. (Though they did not supply the air filter, they still charged for them) We have had Countywide service our air conditioner and clean our furnace exclusively since we moved back in in 2016. On one visit, they claimed to service the system and change the filters needed, but the techs that were sent did not provide the service even though they said it was done. To their credit, they did send a supervisor to redo the job, but still did not provide the correct filter for the air conditioning system. They did, however, charge the $ for the filter. The latest service was performed Nov 1, on our 6 yr old Burnam furnace. My husband was not home, but the techs seemed to know what they were doing this time. They did mention we had a part on the furnace which could last 30 days or a year, and we should think about getting it replaced. The furnace stopped working Nov 28, Thanksgiving morning. We could not get any heat or hot water, with no help from Countywide whom we called. We toughed it out, and again tried to get help on Fri. Countywide said it was still considered an emergency visit, because the office was CLOSED on Fri and would charge us $250 on top of the cost of the problem. We had to agree to these terms, as we have a baby in the house and things were starting to get chilly and we were unable to get any company to come out without a service contract. We were quoted a large amount for part they recommended, and assumed this was probably what was wrong. The tech showed up on Fri morn, and discovered that the problem was an AIR BUBBLE in the oil supply line, and was fixed in about 60 seconds. The tech made the statement he HAD to charge the $250, and we did pay. In closing, I WILL NEVER call this company again to service our heating system. The complete system cost us in excess of $22,000.00. It was disturbing that the tech told us he normally goes over possible problems on the phone ( BEFORE the visit) that may have bearing that the homeowner is capable of handling, but he FORGOT to do this in our case. In closing, this company is more interested in making money, than in servicing customers. In the past, techs sent to adjust a mistake made by Countywide, have expressed to us that ANYONE sent prior to them did not know what they were doing and were not surprised we had problems on EVERY followup. I am uncomfortable with a company whose people have such disrespect for each other, as well as their unwillingness to help us on 2 holiday occasions. I am not sure how the air bubble got in our fuel line, as we had no oil delivery, and had the service done by Countywide on Nov 1. It could be that this occurred at the time of the service. The only reason we continue to deal with this company is that they said it would cancel our warranty on the ac system. Not a good company to deal with.

They showed up reliably but did not give confirmation that they were coming, even for an appointment made weeks earlier. Office folks were very nice but apparently too busy to communicate well.
