The project was scheduled to start on April 1 and be completed by April 15. She called us to let us know she had to fire one of her contractors and we would have to delay the project to an April 15 start date. She promised us completion by April 30 as we started a 2-week vacation on May 1. It was not even close to completion when we left for vacation. We put a 2-week hold on the project thinking it would give materials time to catch up. When we arrived home, countertops were still not ready, and had to wait till the Wednesday after we returned from a 2-week trip to have delivery. The countertops do not match and should have been beveled. Her excuse when it was pointed out they were not flush was that she would have to change suppliers. We finally finished the 2-week project on June 23, way behind schedule. She said the project was finished and wanted her final payment. We refused because we had a list of 25 items that were not completed. She came out and could not find anything wrong. We then showed her our list and she started saying that it was unacceptable and made a list. Had she managed the project we would not have had a list. We told her no final payment until the items were corrected. The crew came back and did some more work but there were still 5 items left. Out of frustration with her lack of supervision, I asked her not to come back to our home. There was no attention to detail at all on her part. We have kitchen cabinets that the doors open the wrong way and make it very difficult to use the space inside. We pointed this out to her and she just looked at it and said I guess I ordered it wrong. The last straw was the Plantation shutters we waited 10 weeks on. When they were installed the shutter handle hits the top of the faucet making opening the shutters all the way clumsy. She said she would replace the shutters but out of frustration we told her to just go away, we were finished. All she can offer is excuses and apologies. She is the best person I have ever encountered at apologizing. Also, early in the project, she had measured incorrectly for the flooring. We were 2 boxes short. She said it would be 3 weeks to get it. I got on the phone and found 2 boxes on my own and had them fed exed the next day. Funny after I found them she said she had too, I doubt that was true. I would not recommend her.

She is a fantastic person and I have already asked her to do more work for me. Her crew are top notch people. When I did have an issue they came out immediately to fix it. Everything turned out beautiful!
