My experience with this contractor was terrible. He quit on the job after taking quite a bit of money and I am pursuing him legally. I had to hire and pay his crew (who he also intended to stiff) and suppliers, which were supposed to be paid with money I paid him.

We hired Ryan Cowen to dig a trench in our yard. We wrote a contract that stated the work would be finished in two days. One person dug part of the trench for two days and left. He returned five days later to finish the job. He did not have the required wire to use in the trench or a tamper to use for refilling the trench. We finished the work ourselves and sent the laborer away. We have paid Ryan Cowen half of the agreed amount. We feel only 15% of the work was finished by his company.

Great experience! Ryan and his crew did a fantastic job on our property (including sprinkler system and landsacping). Neat, fast and efficient!

no follow up as promised

Not reliable for showing up. When he finally showed up to determine the problem, he said he would get the parts and return the folloiwng day to fix my sprinkler system. Never received a call, I called two days letter and did not receive a returned call. It's been 5 days, and still not call. Needless to say, I would not recommend this guy to anyone. Just too unreliable, which is not a great way to do business especially when the economy is the way it is.

Workers were hard working and problem solvers. Additional work on drain was at a good price. All laborers were skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've already had many compliments on my landscaping and requests for the company to hire.

We were very happy with the landscaping work we had done by Ryan Cowen and his crew. They worked very hard to get the job done quickly, they were reliable and trustworthy, and we are so happy with our beautiful yard! The price was very fair also. I am glad to have found someone who does quality lawn and yard work who is willing to come to Woodland Park. We're considering using his lawn maintenance services as well, but we will definitely us his services in the future for other projects we're planning such as building an outdoor living area.
