I met Todd Craig two days before X-Mass when I was in a tight spot because another mechanical contractor had just destroyed the 4 year old steam heat boiler in a rental property I own, leaving two families without heat. Throughout X-Mass & New Years, Todd worked with me to design 3 completely new HVAC systems for this property He also convinced the local building inspector to allow me to change systems from steam to "mini splits" (after another company gave up) and got this complex project done, in the middle of the winter. Todd was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable, communicates well, was always available if I had a question or concern. He also assisted me, greatly, in pursuing a claim for the prior damage, with my insurance company. He always did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. Also, this is the right sized company to produce excellent work at a fair price. When hiring them, you are dealing with the owner of the company & employees, not a salesmen and the cheapest sub-contractor they could find. His guys were great to work with, too. They showed up on time, were professional, both in appearance and in the work they performed. They were always polite to both me and my tenants, making it easier to get past this horrendous holiday calamity. The work, itself was done very professionally. They did not cut corners and often did things the harder way, to achieve the better outcome. This project involved installing a lot of surface mounted refrigerant lines both outside & inside the building. When you look at their work, it is obvious they also do commercial work, because of how neat, clean & straight everything was run. As a professional renovator, landlord & former Home Inspector, myself, I would not hesitate to recommend Craig Mechanical Group.
