Sterling did a great job with our patio and we would use him in the future.

Sterling is an excellent craftsman. There was an area where my floor tile touched my vertical tub tile. It was very difficult to remove the floor tile without damaging the tub tile, but he did it beautifully. I would highly recommend him. He knows what he s doing, and he s very reasonable. One of my estimates was double what he charged. Very happy with his work.

It was very good and he was clean.

I would hire Sterling again. The only reason I gave work quality 4 stars instead of 5 is that the layout is a grid rather than stepped as we had discussed (he was already cutting slate and laying it down as he did so by the time I noticed this so it was too late to do anything about it) and he left one side, not visible from the front, untiled, and there are two pieces that are shorter than the others on the front. It can't be seen unless you look, but I will always know it is there and it means I can't ever have that side or the front entirely visible. I suspect there was not enough slate in the end to do it the way we had discussed and to tile the "invisible" end, and would have required buying another entire box of slate, I imagine. I would have preferred having that discussion rather than leaving the front step this way, but, the job site was kept clean, they were prompt and quick to communicate with,I liked Sterling and his employee, the work that is visible looks really nice, working with ProSource was easy, and, given another opportunity, I would still hire him again, but would spend more time double checking the creative and technical details before any cutting or laying out has happened.
