Be careful! Rodney is a smooth talker and becomes like a friend; however, work we asked to be done was not done as we anticipated but was done in a different and more expensive way. All we needed done was for our dock to be straightened (leaning because of old seawall steel rods being cut in order to replace it with new seawall). Rodney said because of concrete at bottom of piling (telephone pole), he'd have to tear down the gazebo/roof and take out the decking. His workers tore out that plus other things around the dock. Instead of going with wood, we learned from Rodney about WearDeck and decided to with that ($8,000) not only because of its beauty but also for the lack of maintenance. Our gazebo/roof was a hip-style shingled roof and had railings all the way around. It was NICE! When work was done and I looked outside to see the roof, I was horrified! It was a lean-to (or so Rodney called it). Looked like a tin roof nailed to the top of the pilings. It is disgusting. I called Rodney to let him know that I hated it. He came by and here was what he could do: If we wanted the same roof we previously had, it would take a good six months to get the engineered truss because of Hurricane Ian's destruction plus it would cost more money. Considering we have already spent over $75,000 out of savings, we were not willing to pay anything more and didn't want any more work done by his worker.

The job was completed in a timely manner at a great price with quality craftsmanship!!
