I found Creative Equity Builders through Angi. Initially, I was looking to remodel my kitchen. Shawn came by to look at everything and gave me a price and a plan for the kitchen. Unfortunately, there were a couple other home projects that were a higher priority than the kitchen, and I didn’t have the funds for everything. So when I told Shawn the kitchen would have to be put on hold because of the other projects, he told me he knew and worked with people who performed the jobs I needed completed. I needed retaining walls installed, stairs removed, and my chimney repaired. Shawn was always in contact with me and set everything up with the people he worked with. They came out within about a month of our initial meeting, and had all of the work completed within about a week and a half. Any questions or concerns I had regarding the work were answered by Shawn in a very timely manner. He goes above and beyond when it comes to finding you the best deals for the work and materials. He also provides you with a good amount of options when it comes to materials, and is very up front about what it will cost. I’m very pleased with the outcome of the projects. Everyone that has seen the results has raved about them. I’m very glad I chose to do business with Creative Equity Builders. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future, and I highly recommend them.

Shawn and Justin did a great job. The bathroom renovation they did for us looked great and was done in the timeframe given up-front. We had several other companies quote us prior, but Creative Equity was the most reasonable and listened to what we were looking for. I'm posting before and after pictures. Shawn and Mike did an excellent job converting our bathtub to a shower. They kept us apprised of how they were doing and fully explained what was needed for a high quality shower. Shawn and his crew did a great job renovating our master bathroom from an outdated 80s bathroom to a contemporary oasis! We were working with a tight budget, and Shawn worked with us to bring our vision to life while expressing what could be realistically achieved within our budget. His crew was very professional and worked hard. Throughout the process, Shawn addressed our questions and concerns and promptly alerted us of updates, both to timing and anything unexpected that came up. We engaged Shawn to help us with a kitchen renovation along with a possible second story expansion. During our first meeting, Shawn asked us what our goals were for the project. After discussing our needs for the project, Shawn proposed several designs and sat down to discuss the pros and cons of each design. There were several things we appreciated about Shawn's approach to the project. First, Shawn designed the extension and layout for the renovation to meet our needs, rather than trying to fit into a standard format. He even tied the project seamlessly into a preexisting extension to give the house a cohesive design. Shawn was a one-stop shop for our project, in that he not only designed the renovation, he also created the architectural build designs. Second, Shawn is particularly focused on maximizing equity. While his ultimate goal was to design and build a space that we would love, he also helped us to find where we can best maximize the value of the money we were putting into the project to enhance the value of our home. Throughout the project, Shawn kept us informed every step of the way, identifying issues as they arrived and discussing potential solutions as soon as possible. Having purchased an older home, our project presented a lot of challenges which Shawn and his team helped us to navigate. We also appreciated Shawn's attention to detail. Shawn constantly sought our feedback on every decision, went with us to look at the finishes, and provided helpful suggestions on things, some of which we never would have thought to do but ended up loving. In the end, Shawn turned our small 40's kitchen and guest bedroom, into a beautiful spacious kitchen and master suite, giving our home the space and functionality it desperately needed. We cannot thank Shawn and his team enough for the incredible work they did on our home.

We hired Shawn and his team to remodel our outdated kitchen. New cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and appliances. Shawn was knowledgeable about what materials were within our budget and helped us select the color scheme, etc. Shawn was very passionate about making sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. He even drove out to our house just to answer questions I had about the new backsplash. In the not too distance future, we plan on hiring his team to install new flooring.

This was a $112,000 job in two phases. Shawn has a gift for designing as well as construction. He took my new purchase fixer-upper and made it into our dream home. He kept in touch and more importantly he took every call, or called back in a timely fashion. We spent five months on the project, the guys were here every day. The project included enlarging the main bath, opening the kitchen/dining room, rebuilding the screened in porch, adding a 14 foot addition to the master bedroom, a new roof and new siding.
