Creek Stone Resurfacing

I am extremely disappointed that I am being essentially forced to write this review because there has been little to no help given to me to fix some significant problems that occurred with the resurfacing that we had completed on our back yard in late summer 2022. We chose Creek Stone because I was fed a bunch of what turned out to be at best half-truths. We needed to get an area of our back patio ground down and there were chips in the surface overlying the rest of our pool area, so we wanted to get the whole thing redone. We were considering SunDek to make sure the concrete was as cool as possible, and also asked Creek Stone for a quote. Ryan sold me on his treatment by telling me that the coating would be nearly as cool in the sun (it gets too hot to stand on in the summer), would be more durable (doubtful, as you'll see) and his treatment was a decent amount less expensive. The initial install went fairly well and looked good, but within 6 months there were several areas of the coating that was put on the ground-down section of our patio which started to form bubbles and crack. They had a guy come out to grind those down and repair them within a couple months and it looked good again. This is when things really went down hill. 2 months later, the same areas bubbled up again. I wrote emails and text messages trying to get some help and nobody responded until I threatened to write bad reviews online nearly 4 months later. Then it took another 8 months before Ryan finally actually came out to look at the areas of concern (I had taped them off with masking tape so that someone could come over to look while I wasn't home if need be, the tape was on for about a year). All I got from him was that there was clearly some moisture seeping up from under the concrete and that this isn't covered by their warranty. The only realistic option to fix the problem was to grind off everything in the area, put down a water barrier (which, if it was offered, was not strongly suggested on initial install) then re-coat it. On top of all of this, when I went to finally pull up the masking tape, it pulled up a ton of the coating with it and looks terrible. I was given an estimate for what I can only assume was full price with no discount. I responded to that email letting him know that it isn't a good enough offer given how poor the communication of his company had been and how poorly his product seemingly performed compared to what I was told. I haven't heard anything back for over a week, so I assume they are unwilling to give any discount to help fix an issue with their product.
