Crewcut Lawn Care

I would rate no stars if I could. I wanted to re-do my patio, some of it was pavers and the rest was cracking concrete. I gave the job to them because they were young and appeared to be nice people and he assured me he could do the job. I told him he could have my old pavers and I even gave him a concrete table and benches. Started off bad the first day, that should of tipped me off, they didn’t prep the site correctly, machine and materials were not there, but claimed it would be ready by the time the concrete was delivered, it wasn’t, they were still setting forms while they were pouring. Didn’t have the correct tools to float and by the time they got them the concrete was setting up already. They offered to re-do it, but by that time I realized he had no clue on how to do concrete work and I had to bring in another contractor. He told me they would refund my money, I’m still waiting. Tried to be a nice guy and got screwed. I have been very patient waiting for them to return my money, I even offered to let them do some other work to work off what they owe me. I would not recommend them to cut grass.

I commented earlier a bout a poor job. Ashley and Ben replaced all the bad sod and explained phones not working to answer my texts. They both have new numbers and now it's clear why I didn't hear from them. They switched suppliers and now it looks good. Thanks and hope this clears up previous review.

Hired Ben about one month ago to do minor landscaping work ; I am still waiting for work to begin. I've requested my deposit back, and have yet to hear back from them.

Owner left to pick up materials and while he was gone workers did nothing. I asked them to do what I paid for and they did some but called owner. He said I was micro-managing and they packed up and left the job. Wife came with refund check which I never looked at as I explained what was going on. She said they would complete the job. I was in hospital the day they returned. When I got home, sod was half dead and lumpy. I texted nicely asking if someone would come over. Got no response. I've been watering daily and do see some sprouting but still not what I paid for. I gave the job to them because they were young and appeared to be nice people. I had a quote for $300 cheaper. They dropped price from $1900 to $1150 and said there was sod and topsoil left over from another job. The other quote was $875.00. I've been in business in the Lehigh valley for many years and am now retired. Just tried to be a nice guy and got screwed. After the fact I talked to some others in that line of work, and they said they wish I would have consulted them. They heard this guy had bad reviews on sod installation. Don't know about their other jobs.

This was a pretty major landscaping job. They pushed to get my business and promised to be there everyday after they started. Even promised that they would take care of my lawn the following year for free if I did business with them. They were not there everyday, because of various reasons and I had to call them to find out if they were coming. They evidently underestimated the amount of materials that were needed and the job is not finished. They didn't clean up trimmings. They were unable to complete items they quoted and left me now having to find someone to do them. My fault, I guess..this is my first time hiring a landscaper for more than trimming bushes, and expected them to know what they were doing..there are the professionals. I would not recommend them for an extensive job. Maybe snow removal.

Mr. Scheirer is very difficult to contact as his business number is disconnected and his cell voicemail inbox is usually full. When we were able to contact him, he did give estimates, offer deep discounts on accounts paid in full, and quickly pick up payment. However, he did not do the work that he had told us he had done. He has not refunded our money. We paid $500.00 and he will not return our calls or emails. I had to use the half-star rating scale as zero stars is not an option, and that is how I would rate him: zero stars. BEWARE!!

great job and easy to work with. also found out that they do a lot more than landscaping. I will hire them again if needed.

First came out on May 23 2013 to see what I wanted. It taking about two weeks befor they got back to me. They came to do the work on June 12 2013. I wasn't happy with the job at all. I had to call a few times. To ask for some one to come out and fix it. They said they would and I'm still waiting, NEVER AGAIN NEVER!!!!!!!

Great job but original plan was not sufficient

Removed 2 mature black walnut trees and 4 stumps, and planted a new tree; reasonable price, on time completion, exceeded expectations. Total professional work. We have signed up for lawn care for 2013.

I couldn't be happier with the service from Crewcut. We had our lawn regraded and drains installed in the back. They did all the work in one day. I have already hired them to do my lawn maintenance. I would recommend them to anyone.
