Deck or Porch Repair
Our front stairs were collapsing. We called Mike at Crisco. Mike came out, gave a detailed estimate and explained the whole process. We awarded the job to him. He completed the work as described and it was done on time. It turned out perfectly, we are very happy and will use him again in the future.

Exterior Trim Repair
Very good about talking over the project so we both knew what to expect. If an unforeseen aspect came up, we discussed that. Worked cleanly. The posts on the retaining wall lined up straight as an arrow. Kept a good schedule and finished in a timely manner.

Mike, the CEO / President of Crisman, Inc. dba Crisman Builders was very responsive, responsible and started/finished the job quickly. The work quality was excellent, the price was reasonable and it was a pleasure communicating with Mike. He replied to all emails, provided the information needed and made sure that I and the tenants were happy!! Would certainly hire him again.

My house was built 24 years ago and was showing signs of exterior weather related damage (needed replacement of two living room windows that leaked and had lost their seal between the double panes; replacement of siding around the chimney and along one side of house along with replacing header board & some decorative trim above garage door). I contacted Crisman Builders. Mike Crisman presented a competitive bid which was very reasonable. His Foreman Mike and Apprentice Brandon were great to work with. Mike consulted with me anytime there was an issue and we came up with the best solution for the problem. Their work area was cleaned of debris daily before leaving. They were professional and completed the project to my satisfaction.

Never seems interested in the job, just how much he would make. Workers were good. He said it would be 1-2 week job and on the 4th, he texts me to say he could not finish the job due to a schedule conflict.What!

"First and foremost, we were called to this property to give an estimate on a siding job. When we arrived onsite, we were shown a leak that needed to be addressed immediately. This leak was bad enough to warrant emergency service, so, in good faith, we rearranged our crew's schedule to accommodate this emergency for the homeowner. Our crews came to the property and resolved the leak issue on the day appointed. The only thing left to do was paint the wall. However, we had another emergency schedule issue come up and knew we would be unable to fulfill the timeline stated on the contract. Because she needed to finish the repair by a certain timeline, we made the decision to credit back the cost of the painting. We never charge for work not completed. When we sent her our invoice for work completed, we explained that we had a scheduling conflict and did not want to cause her any delays. Instead of calling us to say she really wants us to complete the work and would be willing to accommodate our schedule conflict, she sent us a threatening letter. In an attempt to make things right with the homeowner, we were able to re-accommodate even though her situation was no longer an emergency and offered to come out and paint the wall to complete the job. Her response was a flat out "no". Right from the start this homeowner has been difficult to work with - the misdirection at the initial meeting - trying to re-negotiate the cost after the contract had been established and agreed upon - threatening our company despite our attempts to make things right. Finally, we never communicated with her via text messages. That is unprofessional! All communication, on our part, has been via emails or telephone calls. We have always been polite, professional and courteous. At the end of all of this the Owner didn't even pay the final bill. Which means she not only got credited for the paint she also didn't pay for 25% of the other items we had to do. (Drywall, Plumbing etc.) - Michael Crisman"
